Exam results, exams taken and dates that confirmed dates that the person was at the school. This was for a person who had left school in 1995!!!! Personally I didn't really understand the need for this unless they were applying for a very secure role -

but some times still needed for schools who archived data when moving into sims .net and sql. I had to set up a secondary school last month as a pupil who left in 1995 had applied for a job and the employer wanted some details from the school. -

bad_address filling up dhcp leases
Mcshammer_dj replied to jjohnsoncantell's topic in Windows Server 2008 R2
Client computers running Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows NT 4.0, Windows Millennium Edition, and Windows 98 automatically check to determine if an IP address is already in use before using it. After the DHCP client receives a lease from the DHCP server, the client sends an Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) request to the address that it has been assigned. If a reply to the ARP request is received, the client has detected a conflict and sends a DHCPDecline message to the DHCP server. The DHCP server attaches a BAD_ADDRESS value to the IP address in the scope for the length of the lease. The client then begins the lease process again, and is offered the next available address in the scope. Likely an overlapping scope on another DHCP server (maybe authorised or rogue) or a PC with static IP that conflicts. -

check there isn't a router or a device that can dish out ip addresses attached to the network. -

sounds like a failed network card may be trying to get an address and then failing an retrying Run wireshark and see if that can help identify the culprit -

you will also need an entry for discover, when that is missing you will not see the icon in sims .net -
yeah and if you try to close your account to open a new one they will charge, if you ever need to change the user on the account you will need to pay...... When my older box "broke" recently they offered me a tivo box instead, and moved the v+Hd upstairs.

so to confirm, you have a number of printers you give them an IP address and installed them on the server and then share on the server giving them a unique name each. what happens if you simply go to the \\servername and then double click on the printer to install it??
