  4. powerline? I just got 4 netgear 200 plugs which will be used for each of the samsung smart tv's and to act as a bridge. I also have the app on my tablet to allow me to control each of the tv's from anywhere in the house

  12. When i used to work in a pub years ago we had a drive that ran in front of the pubs so we could see the cars going past to park. The number of times that a carload of 4 blokes would drive past and then 1 lad would come in the buy the round for his mates who were sitting outside on the terrace....... We simply stated that we would pour each pint as each lad came over with ID, which usually resulted in a the round being changed to 1 beer and 3 cokes.....

  18. I use a Dbattach script to create a backup for the SIMS database each evening and use @matt40k 's tidy backup utility to zip and shrink these down. By using the Dbattach routine the passwords are passed to the Sims database as part of the process. I have not had any problems with recovering data either live at school request or into the test datacentre as a part of our DR testing.

  21. Old uni Rugby game.. Get rounds in of lager and keep filling the table with the rule being simple grab the next available glass from the table. During the evening all visit Gents and help to fill the stags special glass, allow to cool and then place on table ensuring all but the stag know which glass to avoid...........

  23. Sims updates do not require the users to have admin rights. Capita have supplied a batch file called simsperm.bat which can be run against a user of a specified group to ensure the rights for users with sims access can perform upgrades to the client
  24. Agree with all the above Simple to move (just in case you haven't seen this) with a .txt file called datafolder in the "all users\application data\fsm\version3" with the text drive name\folder name and it will copy the data to a server location
