Whatever they will give you free and correctly and fully licensed but windows & office for a basic start is good, depending on what you want to use it for - photo editiing, gimp or paint.net, video editing? etc...

Create ISO and show staff how to use daemon tools or similar to mount them when needed - staff can share disks and never need to worry about it being used or scratched etc. Usual disclaimer about checking copyright etc!!

The problem comes that usb is only 5v and most POE is 12-48v therfore a small voltage drop is a greater percentage of a starting usb voltage as opposed to full POE - only way to be sure is to try it though!

Just watch as the longer the cable the greater the voltage drop and therfore a long run may not power the scanner suuficently to work. Thanks James

No legal implications at all about tracing the 'owner' of an ip or website, you cant however request the information under the freedom of imformation unless they are a public sector body, private business are exempt from releasing information unless it relates directly to a publc sector contract or is already part of the public domain - a ltd companies accounts for example are held at companies house. There is an even easier way to override the locked file -but i wont disclose it on a public forum.

Flash papers no good if you have an iPad LOL!! or if you have full flash you can rip the content. PDF is your friend.

No im afraid not - use the old web adage make it cross browser compatible (PDF or ODF) as much as possbile - consider people with macs, *nix etc etc. THanks James

Thats the same for virtually any file format on the market - nothing is 100% secure you can only provide the most compatible format and make sure you have copies off all originals used. Thanks James
