  3. do you use a relay/smart host for incoming mail? maybe this has the tls issue? nick
  4. How about a P2P (physical to physical) We do them all the time. Double take availability will allow this to be done. It will sync both machines until you choose to failover. It will then give the new box the identity of the old box. I think double take is free for 30 days. Nick
  5. Has anyone done the 70-662? whats it like as an exam? nick

  12. the sid means the account can not be looked up in AD any longer. This may mean the account has been deleted or was in a trusted domain that is no longer trusted. nick
  13. the issue will be that all email to that address is forwarded to him as a transport rule so he can monitor it, meaning he will not be in the gal. nick
  14. you want a cname record of autodiscover.company.com which points to whatever the external address for activesync is. (its normally the same as the external OWA address). The time you would need srv records is if you had multiple domains so would need multiple autodiscover records, dont think you have multiple domains. nick
  15. you can create an email address policy to do this as standard, think the option would be %g.%[email protected] etc cant remember the PS off the top of my head nick
  16. should use esx - up on entering maintenance mode on the host it will move all the guests to other hosts in the cluster automatically! nick

  21. You shouldn't have any issues moving dhcp on to a domain controller. As for DNS, I would make the zone AD intergrated then it can be on both DC's and is easy to manage. That's one less server! Nick
  22. Yes the clients will use DNs to find a dc to log into. Without DNs working the machine will use the login server cached in its DNS cache.
  23. what thin client system do you have? what hypervisor? thanks
