Thought I'd share this as I only found this out today. You can still get a fully funded IT or Networking apprenticeship for existing or new employees. Even if you don't pay into the apprenticeship levy (because your wage bill isn't high enough) and yes I work at one but not advertising that here....

Assistant Network Manager - Collingwood College - £34,420 - £38,002

You may wish to talk to finance and point out that from April minimum wage for full time is £25,875 (40 hour week) and if that is what you pay a technican then their line manager should be on at least £30k -
We have user licensing for adobe cc which according to all adobe adverts allows us the use of adobe portfolio. According to Adobe support, because of COP(A) and being a K12 school (We are actually a college and not in America) we are not allowed it... Anyone had this problem? Do you use Adobe Portfolio? If as I suspect no one has it (Adobe Portfolio) then I would love some suggestions for an online portfolio for our photography student (currently using Weebly but with huge problems) TIA Roy

A real opportunity to work at an outstanding work place. This is a mainly second line support role based at the High school. If successful you will be developed, supported and challenged. If you are an experienced 1st Line tech or perhaps in a second line position but feel you are not developed, supported or challenged you should seriously consider this role. https://www.stgeorgesweybridge.com/careers

We are recruiting for a first line support role at St George's College, a large Independent school near Weybridge. This would suit someone already in this position looking to gain further experience, someone recently out of their apprenticeship or as your first entry level role in IT. The people here are amazing and you will be working for a department that encourages development. Further details can be found here https://www.tes.com/jobs/vacancy/service-desk-assistant-surrey-2009565

Hello After a shuffle of roles within the department we have a vacancy for a full time technician. This would suit a newly qualified graduate or equally someone with experience, either way you will need to have a passion for technology. If you are in your final year we would look to support you until you qualify. You will be encouraged to learn as much as you possibly can! 26 Days holiday plus bank holidays. If you are interested call us for an informal chat (01772808888) or even arrange to call in to have a look around (it's quiet this week as it's half term) Thanks Roy Morden
