has SCCM been working before from this server? In a web browser input the following URLs and post screen shots of output: replace the with the name of your SCCM server. http:///sms_mp/.sms_aut?mplist http:///sms_mp/.sms_aut?mpcert I think the issue you are having is that the Management point certificate has an issue. nick

she is doing this as she is booking it for someone else and doesnt want it to appear in her calendar. any ideas?

Hi We have a calendar which is a resource mailbox which is accepting double bookings. I suspect i know what the issue is but not Why and how to stop it. There is one lady who is a reviewing editor of the calendar, when she books an appointment she opens the calendar as a shared calendar and right clicks and selects new appointment, fills out the details then saves it. Another person then creats a meeting in their calendar and adds the resource in the To box, they send the request and it accepts it even though the above appointment is there. Then another person tries to submit an appointment in the same way as appointment 2 for the same time, this is then as i would expect declined. The 1st step above means that the appointment has been created directly in the calendar and that the room is the owner of the appointment (identified by the black magnifying glass in scheduling assistant). Why does this behaviour occur and how can i stop another booking after booking number 1 is made? nick

if you use split DNS (same DNS name internally and externally) you will need to create the www record in your internal dns. This is because the internal server will be authoratitive for the dns zone so if the record is not in internal dns it will not query external dns. it will just fail. nick

If the server does not have terminal services installed then only 3 connections will be allowed. Two sessions will be rdp the other one is console. So if three people are already logged on it will not let you log on until one comes off. This is presuming u are talking about a 2003 server. 2008 is different. Nick

As said above, you will need to change internal and external URL. This can be done through the emc or the powershell. On another note, you may need to buy a new ssl cert as the current one may not contain the new name. Nick

Thanks for the replys, looks like most schools are at 2003 as a minimum. We still have quite a few win 2000 servers around. I suppose out of 1200 servers 120 older than 2003 isn't bad.
