  1. We are currently looking at the Hitachi SAN's.
  2. Looks good - keep up the hard work

Calengoo Evernote DropBox FeedlerRSS Keynote DocsToGo WordPress LogMeIn Osfoora HD TeamViewer Are the apps I have installed on mine for work.
  5. We will probably go down the Veeam route when we virtualise next year.
  6. No Sorry sold out on Saturdays )
  7. We use Inspiration.
  8. I've had that error before and as mentioned above - a detach / reattach fixed it.
  9. No problems with Logmein here - reguarly use it out and in to school.
  10. We have non-managed HP 'Fat' AP's around the school here with around 75% coverage - no problems with our setup up to now, but it takes some setting up each AP so I would go down the managed route such as Ruckus in the future.
  11. Completed it for the iPhone a few weeks back now moving onto the iPad version
  12. Stag do in blackpool on Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning (great time, spent lots of money and drank lots of beer!) Went to see John Bishop at Sunderland Empire on Sunday night and drove home only for my car tyre to blow! Had to dump the car and walk home and walk back the following morning to ring the RAC to come and sort me out - damn Ford, no jack, spare tyre or anything!
  13. Theres no guarantee if you provide access for them on SIMS they will know how to use it. As above, they generally see our data in printed form.
  14. Costs us around £17.5k per year via our LA for 10mbit with no filtering - this I do via our smoothwall box which is an additional cost.
  15. Not doing anything special this week but I usually go over cyberbullying in assemblies as part of Internet safety day.
  16. Slightly hijacking this thread but does anybody use any converting software for all users? I'd love to put the onus on the end user to convert their own files when created.
  17. Nope - just seemed to work out of the box. Only thing the students / staff have to do is configure the necessary settings on first use of the software as the settings appear to be per user and are saved within their user profile - but once set they don't seem to have any issues... it's the tascam's and keyboards that cause all the problems not the software!
  18. You could always use a google form to do this I suppose.
  19. Too be honest you should be able to buy PC's from a lot of suppliers and they should work without problems - you may have to spend an hour or so adding the necessary drivers to the build area, but well worth it for the cost saving.
  20. Bit late in replying but these were the changes we had made also.
  21. We have version 6 installed on our CC3 network but not the networked version - just manual installs on 15 machines in the music department.
  22. I take it you have ran the healthcheck on server 1 also to check if their is any duplicate packages or any corrupt names in AD.
  23. I also think they sponsor Tottenham too.
  24. Each department here has at least 2 flip cameras - other than the converting issue of putting them into MovieMaker the kids and staff love them.
  25. I'll check our config on our box tomorrow and see if I can find anything obvious.
