  1. Noticed my first problem today editing a template in Profiles. After about 30 mins of work, it didn't save back to the SIMS when I had finished an errored out.
  2. This is an interesting topic. We too are close to signing up to a Canon deal with the Uniflow software. We currently use PCounter which is very limited I had hoped Uniflow to be a much superior product.
  3. I think that sounds about right. I think the other drives are picked up using various RM tools rather than standard GPO's.
  4. We've got one of the Dyson handhelds too. Works well cleaning out the projectors and such.
  5. We use Room Booking System - well worth the money in my opinion.
  6. We put Meraki in over the summer and love it. Secondary school.
  7. We use https://www.screenconnect.com for the servers in our remote primaries.
  8. I've had Office 2016 installed on my PC for about a week and didn't notice any errors with SIMS and reports - I'll try it again tomorrow.
  9. I couldn't logon our Surface as a Office365 user either and we are also an RM Unify customer.
  10. We use Sisra - my LMT rave about it.
  11. From a size point of view, I think the Mini is fine. However, the iPad air is so much quicker and smoother to use.
  12. As odd as it sounds, I think it's something to do with the graphics and Impero and not the print management side.
  13. Already tried it - nothing. It looks so simple to fix as well, I guess even if we found the part number they probably wouldn't sell it to us anyway!
  14. I saw it at BETT and liked the look of it, but I couldn't guarantee that it would get used as ultimately the librarian needs to drive it's use. We are a self-hosted school and I don't think it works if your self-hosted, I must admit I've seen a lot of feedback with regards to Eclipse on this forum, but as a self hosted school we've had very little issues, and we've got AD and access to the iOS app all working fine. I do however agree, that sometimes when I need to speak to support it sometimes takes a while to speak to someone, but I certainly don't have it on my list as one of the worst pieces of software we use thats for sure.
  15. We had a cracking fluke tester but the Network Manager dropped a switch on it during the 6 week holidays and bust it. Fluke are refusing to provide us with the part number for a replacement screen, and are wanting to charge us nearly £600 for repair, I paid just over that when I bought it brand new!
  16. Yep, another user for the Climate CM-2 here. Works well and never really had any issues since setup and installed.
  17. Ours is not automated but we request all parents log password resets etc via our Helpdesk. When the reports are released we tend to get about 30 - 40 reminder e-mails. We are getting there and the number is getting less each round of reports.
  18. We used it way back but I am also after an alternative - i've looked and failed so I am also interested in whether theres something out there.
  19. We are also a hosted Sharepoint user - staff, students and parents all receive a different view upon logon. We will probably migrate across to Sharepoint on Office365 over the next 12 - 18 months.
  20. I don't think you'll have many problems moving to Office365 for your mail. If your intending on not installing Office on your clients and expecting everyone to use Office365 for their simple word processing, spreadsheet type needs you'll come across some obstacles - running reports on SIMS, not fully feature rich as the normal client version, loss of everything if your internet connection fails etc.
  21. Yes, remove the client and reinstall.
  22. 3 School Owned Devices BYOD devices Guest
  23. We saw it with a version of Impero we were using - are you an Impero user? Basically we removed the Impero client and it behaved itself, then we rolled it back out.
