If i buy an OEM MAC OS X DVD pack for an iMac even though mine is a G4, would this work? A retail copy is like £80 you see! So not wanting to go down that route unless I have to.

Hello All, I bought the install DVDs for MAC OS X 10.5 Leopard from ebay..... may have been a silly idea but they are official DVDs. I have realised that it may not be a retail install and therefore when I try and run the install it says "Cannot install software on this computer". Does anybody know if there is anyway around using these DVDs that I have bought at all. I have formatted the hard drive on the MAC so at the moment there is not much I can do with the MAC until I get an OS on it. I would be so appreciative of some advice as I have got to a stage where I am almost pulling my hair out! I would have bought Snow Leopard but my iMac has a power pc processor and not an intel processor. I only payed £11 for the DVDs so I thought I was getting a bit of a "too good to be true deal". Hello All, EPSON AL-C1100 has an error message on the display saying Jam MP E. Has anybody seen this before? I have had it in bits and no paper or even little scraps of paper can be seen. The printer tries to print, but the feed makes like a slipping noise and no paper is fed through. Can anybody advise? Oliver.

Don't go near Laguna! I have worked in Car Sales, and have had a Renault myself! When you say what cars dont have problems these days "true comment" - but the Laguna is riddled with many problems. You probably wont find an issue for quite a few months but engine managment lights will start to appear, turbo is a serious issue for diesel renaults as it most probably will need replacing at least once during the lifetime of the car (in most cases). The annoying thing is that I find them very very nice to drive, smooth, and just brilliant to the naked eye! My advice - don't touch! You can buy a 2006 diesel Laguna for £1,800 with low mileage, if these cars had a good reputation the price would be more than double that!

As I was explaining to somebody earlier, I suppose it's like a choice between an 8GB Samsung MP3 player or an 8GB Ipod. What would most people choose? Or can the comparison not be judged from that!

Just been to look at Tablet PCs at PC world. IPAD 2 or SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB 10.1? Samsung Galaxy Tab has the latest android software on it. Samsung = better spec (1gb ram as apposed to 512mb, higher res screen, faster processor) Apple = paying for name maybe, (guaranteed lifetime support) I think both the app store and market are pretty similar in comparison. Please help with your thoughts!

How come on Auto Trader cars are advertised as 1-20 then?

I did the same when I left school at my school for a year, but found that the staff saw me as a pupil still, and found the kids to have less respect for me knowing that I was once one of them.

I think you may have made a mistake, they are only around group 8/9. Even a Range Rover isn't group 19.
