Yes but it wont install anything on the servers themselves?
-
Question for you folks! I am currently trying to get together a database of server details for all of our servers. I have used spiceworks in the past which has carried out a pretty good job of this but don't want to use it if it means that spiceworks installs a client software package on each server as I don't want to start installing stuff on servers. Can somebody let me know if the software gets the information without installing a client? Oliver.

We have an old blackberry, that needs a puk code because the pin has been put in incorrectly too many times. The phone is locked to 02 and we dont have an 02 service anymore.... apart from taking it to a side street shop - will 02 still give us a PUK code?

Recieved three packets today to post them off to Apple Care in Lutterworth! There is speak about getting refurbs as replacements but I have spoke to apple care and they say that they will be brand new ipods and could be more up to date ones depending on how many ipods they get back in etc. etc. Steve jobs has left us now though, so will service be the same???... I will let you all know in six weeks!

When typing/working in office/excel - documents keep lagging constantly! This seems to have taken place ever since the recent security patch which came into play on patch Tuesday! Can anybody relate to this issue?

I was at a party the other week, and started to tell one person what I thought of iPhones, then a load of others joined in and all felt crushed when I told them that I don't like iPhones because of how restricted they are - they all weren't happy and I feel they may not like me as much as a person anymore. Steve Jobs - you have ruined relationships! lol

Can somebody answer this for me (hopefully an iPhone lover can answer it), why do people protect the feelings of their iphone like its a living baby! They wont let any body share their negative opinion on them without being argumentative, they wont ever change from the iphone, and they just seem to think it's the best hence they have one because of this but this isn't the case. OK they are brilliant phones, but the new iPhone 4S is selling on ebay at the moment for in the region of £700-£800, why is the iPhone 4S worth this when the Samsung S2 you can pick up on ebay for £300. Can anybody tell me what a 4S can do that the S2 can't?

I use a sat nav app on the S2 called Sygic and it never drops out of range and I find it as good as a tom tom. Headphone volume isn't as loud as other phones - I agree. I have had bad experiences with HTC but with Windows installed on the phone so that is probably why - I used to have a HTC Touch HD running Windows (Horrible memories).
-
S2 - It's light but I have to take it out my pocket if I am working on some cabling or something under a desk.

I don't know who told you that, but somebody in our office just got a contract last week - one of those £10 a month ones with the cheapo phone and it's only costing her £7.50 a month with the 25% discount.

Finally received my new phone, it's beautiful! Why does it take them so long to activate the new SIM card though? I rang Orange and they said Phones4U will activate it on Wednesday and got the phone/sim pack on Friday. I love the phone, I can't see why somebody would pay so much more for an iphone at all! I downloaded a sat nav app from the market called Sygic, and have tried it a couple of times - and it appears to be VERY responsive and it's all in 3D. The features are amazing, downside = a little big and you can certainly feel it in your pocket. another downside = I choose white and I think maybe if I could turn back the clock I would choose black.

Phones4u and Orange!

Made a purchase of an S2 contract last night! Wait till you hear this deal! £28 a month, 700 mins, 3000 texts, 1GB Data Free Samsung S2 £100 Instant Cashback. Works out that the phone tarrif is costing £7.16 a month. If you aren't after a new phone but your contract is up, sell the phone and take the cashback for a cheap contract perhaps?

Hello All, I know nothing about home cinema systems so hopefully somebody will be able to help me; *Firstly I have a Samsung 1000W RMS home cinema blu ray system. Is the power output good on this or not? What is RMS? *Any tips on improving sound? Is it best to use optical cables for input or improving speaker cables? Any cables anybody recommends? *What is the ideal positioning of the speakers? Oliver.

I am going to do it! Nobody has a bad thing to say about the S2

Well I am going off what I have been told in the orange shop, I am no expert on the orange contracts really

Iphone is a fashion statement I think, I used to have a 3GS and loved it, but found it quite restricted. As a standard user I recommend them, but as I like to play around with the OS and mess about with things on a phone, the android device can handle this a lot better I think.

What about the size of the S2 though? Quite bulky maybe? I think the S2 seems to be the best spec'ed Android phone on the market at the moment.
