On system info, it says the current ram is 512MB and there is a 512 stick in bottom. I am guessing the slot inside is left empty? Or does any memory in this slot not register in system info?

Brilliant, I am guessing this slot contributes to the overall RAM size? Does it still hold laptop size RAM? Is it still DDR or is it DDR 2, or...?

1.25Ghz Processor. Only one slot for RAM, max it will take is 1GB. Also Max DDR memory I can find is 1GB and it wasn't cheap at £24 on ebay.

Can I still purchase 10.5 Leopard from apple or it this something I will have to obtain (if you know what I mean). Will I be able to use packages on the mac such as garage band and imovie?

Has anybody installed this recently? What do I need to look for in Google? Or can somebody send me a link to the installer.

Easier said than done, I want like a zipped folder containing all the drivers.

Hello All, I am currently getting to grips with Mac, never had much to do with them before but just got an iMac G4 with 20 inch TFT. Aparantley it is only upgradable to 1GB of RAM which I have purchased, and it has Mac OS X installed. Can anybody recommend any upgrades I can carry out to it make it as superdupper as possible?

Hello All, At the weekend I bought a 20 inch Apple iMac G4 (the one with the chrome swivel arm attached to the dome based cpu) for £100 with Mac OS X Snow Lep on it, and also came with brand new apple keyboard and brand new apple mouse. I bought this from a car boot and it works well. Can anybody tell me if I got this for a good price? Also it takes DDR ram (not DDR2 or DDR3), which only seems to come in the size of 1GB Max. Can anybody tell me where I can get 2GB of DDR ram (Laptop size). Thanks

Hello All, I have an RM One 945 laptop at home which I use as a print server / web services server. The AC adaptor is faulty and likes to pop out of place now and again. No no, I tethered mine through bluetooth. I know this because my phone wifi doesn't work.

He can tether internet from his phone to the ipad via bluetooth, I used to have a non 3g one and managed to use the internet via my phone. It works well!
