Hello, We have a 56.2M error message on our HP 9500 HDN. This is stopping us from printing... I have read on the internet that this could be a fault with the Magenta Image Drum but we have recently replaced this. We only use original toners/cartridges. Any clues anyone? Oliver.

Got a bit further with this; install printer on users pc as a local printer via ip address and you can't print documents to it but can do a test page. On the same connection that doesn't work - enable sharing and add it on another user so they are printing to a network printer and it works (even though when it works like this, the local network printer connection to the printer doesn't print documents either on this PC).... I am confused......

We don't use this facility, I don't think the printer is capable of the facility anyway, its a Konica Minolta 3730DN

The printer is just a printer, doesn't use department codes as it is situated in one department only.

Thanks Jonny, it certainly isn't ip address that is the issue, and we dont have any managment software. Can you think of what else it could be?

Hello All, Just installed a new Konica Minolta all singing and dancing color laser printer. I have added the connection ports and printer drivers onto all the involved user's pcs and can print a test page from all of them and it works fine. When they come to print a document, it doesn't work at all. No activity on the printer and job disappears from queue as if its finished printing fine (but doesn't pop up saying job sent to printer). Any clues? I have tried different drivers and tried messing with the protocol settings. The printer doesn't connect through host name - it connects via IP Address which has been reserved in DHCP. Hello, A colleague has an issue with a .doc file which I am also scratching my head over..... A word document that has tracking in it (tracking is what shows what things have been changed in the document). When it is opened it crashes or says not responding. If I open and save on another PC it then works fine on the PC in question, but also the issue is only with these particular documents. Any body seen anything like this before? Any ideas? Ol.

2 people share the same .pst files but are in on different days so they both never use it at one time. Problems have been caused by this such as personal folders not closing properly and the other person not being able to open them, and the personal folders disappearing. Does anybody have a similar situation at their workplace, but has put a better solution in place? I could do with putting into play a better solution....... Your help would be most appreciated.

Recieved latest nanos in parcel today, pretty cute, smart looking. The ipod i sent off to apple was battered and scratched, with only 2GB and battery didn't work at all. They have now replaced it with a brand new (or looks brand new - maybe refurb) colour touch screen nano with 8GB. Straight on ebay me thinks!

Just sold two Gadget show tickets on ebay for double the amount I paid for them even though they are still available on the gadget show website for the original price! They also sold within the hour! I think it sounds too good to be true, is there a chance the buyer could say the tickets aren't in the envelope? And where do I stand if the buyer claims nothing was in the envelope?

Do you think if I export all the contacts out of my google account, and delete them all from my google account and do a sync it will remove them?

Somebody asked me to download an app on their phone this morning.... I accidently without thinking logged into their market with my google account. Now all my contacts and calander has synced on their phone and there is 100s, how can I remove all my contacts in one go without wiping the handset? (other than manually deleting them?) Hopefully there is a way..... It's an android device.

Got confirmation that my replacement products are in the post , What a good turn around seems I posted them near the end of last month.

Left school at 16 and started to work as an apprentice at the same school I worked at, then moved onto two other schools to widen my experience. Gained CCNA qualifications along with a couple of NVQs, an ITQ and an Advanced Diploma in IT. Now got great job for local government on good money (great place to work) at age of 21. These days experience counts for as much or sometimes more than qualifications.

Hello, I have taken a photos of our server racks, and want to put something together so that when I hover the mouse over a certain part of the photo, a description pops up. So for example one of our 60 servers in one of the racks, hover mouse over the individual server in the photo and a description appears. Any ideas? Oliver.
