  1. Some more info: to maintain scanning quality it is now recommended to perform preventive service on scanner. Call HP Support.
  2. Soo.... no offers for help with our beautiful designjet printer then? Anyone......?
  3. Hello, I would appreciate some advice, we have a HP Designjet 815 MFP Printer (Q1279A). The scanner part of the machine has an LCD display which has started to warn users that a Maintenance Kit is required soon. I believe the message pops up after a certain time or after a certain amount of prints as apposed to when the maintenance is actually required. The maintenance kit includes an LCD glass, a bulb and a man to look at the machine and patt it nicely like a dog. The prices for this maintenance start from £532.00 from a company we have never heard of or £800 from HP. Does anybody know of any famous key functions that will reset the maintenance warning? A week after the maintenance message appears, aparantley the scanner becomes un-usable. Oliver.
  4. I think I will just pay it.
  5. Virgin have already given me free installation, and 2 free V+ HD Boxes.
  6. I think that companies should send you a paper copy of terms and conditions which I would need to sign and send back. PlusNet haven't sent me any paperwork what so ever.
  7. Hello, Can somebody help me please, I am not binded to a fixed term contract with PlusNet but want to leave them and they want to charge me £25 to leave them as it is stated in their terms and conditions. Do they still have legal power if I am not fixed to a contract? I did pay a connection Fee! I pay £23 a month for phone and broadband and am only getting 3MB speed. I am switching to Virgin Media for a 30MB speed, with phone and all tv channels in two rooms for £32 a month as at the moment I also pay £20 a month for sky. Oliver.
  8. Does anybody know of any way I can make a virtual tour using photographs? For eg. If I was selling my house and wanted arrows where somebody can guide themselves around.
  9. Hello, Wondered if somebody can help, we have a fantastic 2000W Home Cinema system but unfortunatley with a problem. If I blast it out like I did tonight when J-Lo came on the music channel, there seems to be a very annoying buzzing sound coming from the main unit (like as if a fan is catching). I have had the unit open and nothing is in the way of the fan. Unfortunatley there is no warranty. Can anybody advise or share similar problems?
  10. Thanks Guys!
  11. Hello, thanks for your reply/appreciate it. We aren't in a position to pay out for it to be sorted as it is still usable, but thanks for the advice anyway. I am still after self-fix tips though if possible? Regards.
  12. I don't think you can buy an Iphone 4 on ebay for £180.
  13. Is it quite thirsty on the petrol?
  14. Hello, HP ColorLaserjet 2600n! Isn't printing Red properly on pages, sometimes it's orange, sometimes peach coloured:mad:. I have looked into this and I have managed to come to the conclusion that the Laser Reflective Mirrors and Lens may need a clean. I cannot find any documentation on how to get to these parts, even though I have an idea what they look like. Can anybody save me taking it fully to bits to find these parts by giving me advice? Thanks, and in advance; thanks for your help. Oliver.
  15. Do you mean take it out of gear without using clutch? Does it sound like a broken gearbox mount?
  16. I am not even sure it is the clutch itself yet. When the car is stationary like at some traffic lights, there is a rattling sound which sounds like the exhaust pipe but it's not - and my gears have become all of a sudden dead hard to get in.
  17. I always use handbrake, the mechanics of the car are actually japanease because they use the same engines in toyota aygo and citroen c1; but I believe the parts are japanease (my engine actually has Toyota stamped on it).
  18. Hello, I am having clutch problems with my car, and believe I need a replacement clutch. Should this be necessary at 19k miles on a 2009 car? It's a Peugeot 107. I know this is an IT forum but you IT people out there seem to give me more detailed info than them on motoring forums. Thanks.
  19. I can assure all viewers that this item has not been stolen, purchased from Halfords approx. 9 months ago.
  20. Sorry, It's 270761201777 - Sorry not got access to ebay on PC at moment to be able to send you a link. Oliver.
  21. Sorry for the delay in me getting back to you all! I currently have it for sale on Ebay! Here is the ebay item no. 270767201777 Thanks Oliver
  22. I am taking a guess, and think its something like MEX-BT3800U but don't hold me to that - will update this thread tomorrow to confirm.
  23. I will upload photos tomorrow :-) Thanks for your interest.
  24. When ever a user tries to print an email, a script error appears. Sorry, I can't tell you what the error code is as the error never happens for me on her machine even though I have seen it for myself in the past. I know it sounds a bit radical but the only solution I can think of now is to wipe the pc fresh. It is an internet explorer script error which I don't understand as its when printing in Outlook. Please somebody shed some light for me :-) Oliver.
