We were a new customer, but because we live in an apartment we needed to go through a company called telair which deal with apartment installations hence we got charged for installation. Richard Murdock has got far too greedy!!!

I have recently had Sky+ fitted in my appartment, which I pay £16.50 a month for, with a free sky + box but I had to pay for the installation charge of £30. Forgive me if I am wrong but the installation charge for me should include fitting of the sky dish, installation of the box, and basically getting your sky tv up and running. The installation engineer came out, and all he did was unplug my old sky box and install the new one using the cables that were already in place. That was my £30? Now the engineer didn't even register my sky card for me, I had to do this???? Can people give me their opinions on whether this is right or wrong??? Thanks:) Also anybody any previous experience of trying to complain to sky???

Hi There, How old is your friend who is trying to get into ICT? if he is aged around 18-21 the course I am doing at the moment could be great for him, I go to college one day a week carrying out a L3 NVQ for IT Professionals and a CCNA Cisco qualification. I fully advise the use of AVG anti-virus, it pops up instantly when you get a virus, and I would say works just as well as any other. It updates at the very least once a day, and protects your computer system well. Don't be scared when you get a message up saying your anti-virus will expire in 30 days on it as AVG is free for life. Hi There, I use a Blackberry Curve 8900 which you can get for cheap(ish) now on contract or buy a payg handset for around £220. I have 4 e-mail accounts configured at the moment, it doesn't need to sync through a program like iphones through itunes, you just add your e-mail account as you would on outlook except its easier as all you do is put in your e-mail address and password and the phone does all the smtp settings (etc.) for you. When ever i get an e-mail within 2 seconds I get an announcement noice on my phone. I can reply and create new e-mails using it, and e-mail people who are in my phones address book. I personally think the blackberry range are the best for this are to be honest they are built for this type of work, kids have bloomin' iphones as they see them as toys. If you want professionalism and quality choose the blackberry. Thanks

If you have a Photocopier connected to your network which can be used as a printer, you will be able to send A3 prints to it. I have done this before with Ricoh Africos before.

Hi There, There are ready made templates available in Dreamweaver to use. To a professional they are obviously a dreamweaver template, but its a cheap option which you can do, or as everyone is saying; use Joomla.

If you are using a monitor though as a television, you will have to make sure that you purchase or connect up if you already have one a sound system or purchase a monitor with built in sound, as you may have a picture (all well and good) but sound obviously is vital.

Locate the source Start Menu Folder on the server, right click on it, go to permissions and choose for the permissions to be set so that only administrators can change the start menu settings. This is assuming you have a network set up like this, if not its recommended for security reasons. If the start menus are connected through local programs and icons, there maybe a script which I don't know I am affraid. Hope that is some help to you!

Check out Money Saving Expert as last weeks deals had a TV (which I had never heard the make of before hence) for £230 at Morrisons (Buy in Store only). The TV had a built in UK region DVD player, and had 2 HDMI Sockets. The size of the TV was a 32" with a black and silver frame. Wasn't a Sony Bravia but amazingly cheap for a new TV with 12 Month Warranty.

Hi there, I am starting a CISCO course at Burnley College in a weeks time. I previously carried out CCNA Modules 1 and 2 a year back and now I have to do the CCNA 1 and 2 again. Can anybody give me advice on any tricks to bypass 1 and 2 to get straight to 3 and 4. The issue is I believe that the criteria of modules have changed to discovery what ever this means but I feel I have wasted a chunk of my life on carrying out tasks to complete CCNA 1 and 2. The bright side of this course involves me carrying out an NVQ L3 in ICT Professionals. Please could people tell me if this is a good course for me or not to carry me through to a good career in ICT. Also any tips on revision for CCNA and any ways i can recieve help with binary as this is my week point in all this. I really don't have a problem with carrying out CCNA 1 and 2 again if it will mean something more to me, I would appreciate advise Thanks
