I don't think we should assume english is his first lauguage and everybody should have thier say (its upto you if you want to take them seriously or not).
-
@ Styloid As already mentioned £150-£200 for a conference place is rather a lot, maybe if you post your costings on here some of the memebrs could have a look at them and maybe make some suggestions on reducing them.

SCL Online - RV77 Black & Silver Micro ATX Desktop Case v2 I think this is the only spec we have on the site, let me know if you would like any images of anything specific on the chassis.

Are all the fans spinning (check the psu fan)?
-
The CPU fan/heatsink may have come loose in transit, you could pop the side off and try and wiggle the heatsink to see if you can feel any movement.
-
Looks nice, I normally just have a USB enclosure with its lid perminantly off.
-
Most stock will be with wholesalers and not actually at proband as such multiple items may be coming from different wholesalers.
-
Indeed but I would guess thats vs SP2 without any updates.

As per above posts probably poorly main boards, check the ATX power connector and especially the 2x2 pin ATX 12v connector (if they have them).

Vista product keys are not tied to either architecture as far as I'm aware, if you were to buy an oem copy of 32 bit for instance and decided you wanted to use 64 it you can buy the media from MS for a shipping and handling fee. With a royalty oem you will need to request 64 bit installation media from them directly. Have you called Dell to check if they provide 64 bit media and if they even support it?

Updating Boot Agent for Intel PRO/100 VE network card
PeterW replied to Andie's topic in Wireless Networks
By looking at the version numbering the board is probably ASUS, either a quick call to Viglen or pop the lid off of one of the machines and read the model number from the PCB. -
What is the make/model of the PC? Or is there amodel number printed on the mainboard?

I feel your pain, although there is a DOS NDIS driver if you look hard enough it requires that you load another driver file before letting the NDIS driver load (I assume the first driver has the same functrion as the net bus enumerator in windows) I once had to integrate it into an RM build disk for a customer it was not a fun job. I think the more modern Nvidia chipsets use a different method these days thank god.
-
Are you making custom build disks for that NIC with the latest drivers or are you using an exisiting build disk?
-
It certainly sounds nic related as per bossman's post, are you creating your build disk with the latest version of the dos drivers? Also make sure the build disk is not using an exisiting driver which may be out of date, have had this with Realtek & Marvell nics so far.

What happens if you put it under load? if the temp gets any higher it will start to throttle.
-
Err I'm pretty sure the correct one was (316MB) and the other one wasent, it looks all good to me its not showing a build number in System Properties or winver which is normally a good sign.

Warning drinking beer and playing the Wii can seriously damage your front room, I smashed a light fitting playing tennis

There should be an option in the BIOS to disable AHCI, this is probably your best bet unless you really want to mess about adding the drivers
-
Yeah I assumed as he didnt mention any special features it was something like an F-419 standard screen.
-
Looks to me like it just needs some longer screws and hook it onto the desk (it looks like it would sit flush then).

Some of them look very good, althought you can normally tell from the specs which ones are fakes or badged nokla as they tend to have 2MP camera dual sim slots and a touch screen with stylus. Quite a few people have been caught out and some in desperation have tried to shift them on by re listing them on ebay. Hmm the one in that video is a very good copy indeed, I take it the one on the right is the fake (not got sound on) it seem to boot up far too quickly to be an N95 even with demand paging

Do you know which version of the realtek lan rom you have it will be something like 2.04, 2.06 etc?
-
The mic is built into the top of the unit, you can use an external mic but would have to connect it to the mainboard mic in on the rear/underside of the unit.
