  1. i tend to buy disks for 2 reasons. 1 special editions almost never come in a version with the stuff (so take breath of the wild i wanted the master sword statue) and a code its always a disk/cart 2 its almost always cheaper to buy a disk version of a game even new i wonder about 8k 120hz tellys being under 1k the 55" 4k im looking at (its a 2019 model qled) is 1k and does 120hz BUT with vrr/freesync its 48-120hz at 1080 and 48-60hz at 4k with quadruple the data at 8k thats going to need a much beefier soc to do it (assuming you want vrr and at those type of refresh rates id imagine you would)
  2. i dont think so iirc they work in a basic fashion as a usb drive so you can chuck mp3 files on but its been a long time
  3. my guess is you can use a hdd as basically cold storage you can save stuff there but you can only play it from the internal drive
  4. international (harvesters)
  5. if its still a modern app it wont fix the printing issue though anyway
  6. have you generated an unattend.xml file for 1903 or are you using an old one? at a guess its not liking something in the answer file either that or you have removed provisioned appx files. ive never managed to capture an image after removing appx files in my experience you need to either use a script after you fire the finished image out or edit the wim file you use to deploy the machine you are going to sysprep so they dont install in the 1st place
  7. will office 365 even let you send 1 email to that many people at once? If so wont it get instantly detected as iffy by 365 and probably get that users sending privileges revoked?
  8. its as far as i can tell a modern apps thing. They dont use the full windows print engine (for want of a better term) they use some cut down pos that as others have stated if you have a copier with codes is a nightmare as it just kills the print queue for everyone. Im assuming at this point ms dont intent to change this functionality as its been present in every version of windows 10 i assume its just the way modern apps work and not a bug
  9. ive played with a lot of it on test accounts ive had intune up and running so completely cloud managed pcs and users. log in with their email address to a win10 oobe and it sets them up applies policies and installed acrobat reader/office/paint.net set up onedrive to sync docs desktop and the other folder it can autosync played with azure information protection a bit but not got it working to a point in happy with single sign on both cloud only and hybrid with on site ad theres a lot it can do but its all been on disposable test accounts
  10. not sure ive only set it up to test it so reporting wasnt something i looked into sorry
  11. i used to have a microsoft band (until the strap almost tore through) was a nice watch and i liked just a quick look at my wrist to see if a phone call/email could be ignored without getting my phone out. since then i went back to my old non smart watch till that decided to keep resetting itself couldn't decide what to replace it for about a year (i got the ms band for £60 and anything smart wise that seemed to do notifications was more than i was willing to pay). Then when my parents got me a decent watch i couldnt get used to wearing a watch again it just felt odd
  12. dosent obs need 2 pcs and actual capture hardware?
  13. if you have gsuite or office 365 they can both do room bookings
  14. just get their stuff out of the vault probably easier

the key word there is WILL not are. Im not saying evs wont become the norm in 5/10/20 years but right now they are not a solution (or not a good solution) for everyone like some people seem to think. You also cant just go back to working within walking/cycling distance of home there isnt the infrastructure for that to work nowhere near the housing stock in the right places for a start. "That was what life was like just over a hundred years ago" is a bad argument for anything there is no comparison with times that far removed people will not go back to that under basically any circumstances (he point i was making about phones above is people will not go back to a simpler but less good system if the alternative exists). People migrated to citys as thats where the jobs are there is no point in reversing that there is nothing to do in the countryside that will keep a roof over their heads the jobs they used to do have been eliminated for better or worse by machinery
  16. fujitsu do as well but you need to install some downloader client. Its always searching for laptop model sccm drivers as they work with basically any deployment method

and without affordable transportation the economy collapses as people cant get to work or cut their spending just to pay for fuel so they dont put money into much else another way to reduce energy usage is we could ban smartphones. think of the materials and energy that could be saved by going back to a nokia 3310 that had a smaller battery lasted all week and is far less complicated to make with fewer parts so less materials used to make it as well. it still functions as a phone the way an ev functions as a car (i admit this is a big stretch but you get the idea) there are also things that could be done like forcing all new builds to have solar panels (though without subsidies it now takes an absurd amount of money for solar panels to pay themselves off) even simple things like painting roofs light colours would reflect heat/light back into the atmosphere rather than warming things up. We cant even get people to turn off appliance they arnt using which takes all but zero effort getting people to accept evs as they are just isnt going to happen without massive incentives. as others have said start with busses / trucks electrify the rest of the rail network, stop building massive glass buildings that need ac because they are just a huge greenhouse (or at least fit shutters or something)

but its the current norm and going to a system thats worse is just something as a society we dont generally do. and yes you can charge an ev from a domestic 13amp socket but isnt that incredibly slow great if youre staying overnight less so if youre not. again back to infrastructure im fine i have plugs in my garage but the house i live in has 4 garages under it 3 of them dont have power and there is nowhere on street to charge at best there are 2 lampposts in terrible places for running cables from
