the problem with renting for long journeys is that for me a lot of the longer journeys i do are pretty much spur of the moment. so i might decide to go to the touring cars in Scotland but i will decide on the day if the weather looks decent and i wake up early enough to drive there from Leeds so there is no way realistically i could do it. Now in a 2 car household thats an easier sell one car can be an ice one an ev that gets more evs out there so improves the network for them. 95% of the time i could probably manage with a 100 mile range car but it makes that other 5% a real pita (even going to the office which i do rarely is 65-70 miles thats without detours so if i need to add an extra stop in my day it could be a problem i just dont have with an ice car)

mdt itself is free but it does work best if you have kms/mak keys i dont know anymore how it handles oem keys in theory as they are in the bios it should work but its been a long time since i tried

i use wds/mdt on the server. i download drivers for them (or fire one up and use dism to extract drivers from an example pc) then basically flatten them mdt will domain join and install software so i can usually just go away for a bit come back (depending on software you want installing hit next a few times) on the 1st of a machine type check device manager etc and then shut it down and set up where its going/had out if its a laptop. I generally dont use manufacturer images as the amount of useless crud on them can be silly

you could probably (i havent tested this so this is just me thinking out loud) boot them from an mdt memory stick and deal with then as a non pxe pc (they may support pxe but i dont know) obviously make sure youve backed up anything you need to backup before trying. other than that if you have a customised mdt image you could copy that wim file rename it to install.wim and put on a normal windows 10 usb stick

your probably better off creating a .reg file (so set up the registry as you want it on 1 pc then export as a reg file and then use regedit /s filename.reg as your script

its a shame i was hoping i would be able to run windows on my pixelbook as sometimes there is just stuff thats easier on windows (ive yet to find a paint.net equivalent for chromebook they are either so basic as to be kids drawing packages or photo editors). Though now that linux on a chromebook supports sound i can play some of my steam games on it. of the 2 ive tried ff6 loads but sound is terrible but party hard works well lol

on and somehow (thanks square for an achievement worth 16 points) i have a really weird gamerscore now instead of the usual ending in 5/0 (56001 ffs) - - - Updated - - - i enjoyed shadow of the tomb raider but not enough to try a harder difficulty or to go back and do the last dlc tomb they released

on my last playthrough (before i abandoned it) i got to yuffies village pretty early ion the game (about as soon as you can) and that wasnt fun though in the xb1 version the invincibility etc helps lol) i heard as many complaints about octapath as good things (i played the demo and wasnt bothered enough to but it) mainly the end game being stupid and not worth the insane grind and the stories dont really go together well i finished ff13 part 1 recently and went to part 2 not really feeling it though the crysalarium system was changed in an odd way and im not sure what im supposed to do with it really lol not to mention im not sure swapping the 3rd character for a captured enemy is a great solution. also started gt sport over the weekend. its been a long time since i played a gt game but i really dont like the way the deal with stuff like racing lines etc forza does it a lot better(i generally have it on for corners only as a reminder and try not to use it but the way gt sport does it is weird instead of a coloured line it just flashes up break on the screen

but square almost cant win. a modern game with turn based would be odd but im not sure i want to play it non turn based on their recent games (and i cant be the only one). its always going to be a better game to remember than play. look at their secret of mana remake it was simple and it was the crash happiest console game ive ever played. you cant compete with someone childhood memory of playing a game it can never live up to it because you arnt the same person you were at 16

and if they ever got on the same wifi you can use the google home app and your phone to trigger then anyway (or cast to them etc) and iirc once seen i can on mine turn on my lights and broadcast messages from other locations (to test this ive just turned my living room lights on from the other side of leeds)

in theory yes but ff15 was for me just so bad i dont trust square to make a fun rpg anymore. The last few new(at least at the time) square rpgs ive tried have all gone unfinished, so ff13 lightning returns i think i managed 1-2 hours, world of final fantasy wasn't that bad but i never finished it in part i think due to the voice acting of that floating fox thing driving me round the bend, dragons quest 11 the story wasn't great and the music was after a while was awful and turning it off diddnt help it just feels wrong playing a game without its own music (i gave up after the horse racing bit), ff15 i managed 90 mins it never gave me a reason to care about the boyband you play as and their constant drivel was annoying. that said i enjoyed replaying ff13 and when i decide ive had enough achievement hunting im going into part 2 and will at least give lightning returns another shot
