We use sccm to apply power policies. You can set they for specific hours too which is handy
-
We use this. Works well for all vlans

We do not allow students/staff onto our wireless that have twins. Problem solved

I've started to buy refurb lenovo t450 or x250 with docking stations. My tech and I have swapped our workstations and laptops for x250 with dock.

Radius dynamic vlan with single ssid for all depending on user group. Guests are vlanned to the 666 vlan. Access is controlled via this very nice edugeek members php portal which is accessible to all staff and creates an auto expiring AD account /showthread.php?t=170407

Have you bought a SQL license then? Or do you not run Sims locally or sums at all?

Exactly what ed jellard (ex IBMer) did with http://www.onlinescoutmanager.co.uk When I was a scout leader I was involved at the start with this. The progression that ed made on his own with the scouting community giving feedback was incredible. Wiped the floor with the scout associations efforts.

I saw a matrix for Kms 2019 that would also indicate it is not valid for win 7. We still have win 7 clients so dodged that bullet -
You can do this. Downside is the upgrade runs as specified user and then opens 4matrix as that user ergo the end user gets no printers or shared drives. Simple fix is to close and reopen but some users just don't get it lol

I did this in the summer and it broke my deployment. Made every copy of office reconfigure after being installed cleanly. Worst this was it needed admin rights to finish so I binned the idea of slipstreaming

We had that this week. I almost fainted when I saw the baskets were 200 quid for 4

At what speed is your File Server connected to the Network?
markwilfan replied to Frazzle's topic in Hardware
@AlanD my raid 10 with spinny disks easily saturates a 10Gb link. A single spinny disk can saturate 1gb link. You only need circa 110MB/s to do 1Gb/s -
How can I gpupdate /force /boot multiple remote computers?
markwilfan replied to talksr's topic in Learning Network Manager
If you use sccm you can use right click tools to do this -
Good point especially if you are downloading the packages before deploying instead of streaming them
-
Make sure all packages are distributed and available

Just wanted to make sure I had my dog barking up the correct proverbial tree. Do you mount the wim and inject the file in or use the gpo method to replace the file? I'm using gpo but the file will just not replace
