  1. From memory you have to allow less secure apps in the settings for gmail, then log in to the account you are authing with and turn it on there too. If it has attempted an insecure auth then you will get a prompt when you log in, think it sends you an email too
  2. This is on my easter to do list this week. Will let you know how I get on
  3. Just started watching this. Bloody love it. Comedy gold
  4. Millgate do ubiquiti. Speak to Bryn I'm sure he can sort you out.
  5. Sorted it in the end. Think it was where I hadn't set up the vlans in the controller. The outage was very similar to a packet storm but couldn't replicate it. I found reference to the same behaviour in a review of the 16-xg . I like the interface tbh. Vlan tagging os a bit different to hp but I quite like it. Almost like templates for different types of ports. Big difference for me was having to have the management vlan untagged on the trunk that connects to the switch instead of all vlans tagged.
  6. @mavhc I've got a feeling this isn't possible with the majority of android devices. IIRC there are a small amount of devices google allow you to do this with. Chromebooks are the way forward with this kind of device. Android apps are coming to some chromebooks and all from 2017 devices onwards. I think if it were possible more people would have gone this route
  7. In a word "flakey". We use it for 70 ipads and 20 macs. Server needs restarting every few days. It also does not scale up very well
  8. That would be ok but personally I would go for one that is mobile friendly like https://cheapsslsecurity.co.uk/comodo/essentialssl.html If you have more than a few ssl subdomains it may be better value to get a wildcard cert
  9. I use https://cheapsslsecurity.co.uk/ for our wildcard cert. Good value for money I think
  10. No it wasn't ideal lol supposed to leave at 3.30 so only had time to rip out the cable. Will investigate today what happened and feed back to help others .
  11. Yeh best had
  12. If I remember correctly
  13. The new agents don't need rebooting... which is much better
  14. Yeh did this a few weeks ago. Found stability is much better. Os is still 2012 r2 but planning in upgrading this in summer. Not major issues, just ran the installer iirc
  15. Bought a US-48-500W to play with. Plugged it in at 3.25 and tried to adopt it. 3.30 I was running over to the 2nd server room to rip out the ethernet cable as it floored our network. Wtf! I don't want to rtfm makes me feel inadequate
  16. Been in the same boat. Our ms licensing was £4000 more this year as previous nm had not licenced properly
  17. Or been given poor advice
  18. Do you mean there is a management profile locking the settings? If so hold option before pressing the arrow next to the password box on logon. This will allow you to by pass the management If this mac does have a management profile it may have been used to adjoin the mac in the first place. Make sure time and date are correct too. This can stop ad logins
  19. +1 for salamander too... oh and calc
  20. We tried it. Fell into a pit of pain with missyncs, duplicates and loads of other problems. We only migrated 3 depts to it and quickly back pedalled. Was scary at points and had to restore from local backups at some points
  21. First match in a while we actually started and finished. Great game
  22. I've found some groups you can find by just typing the group name. Others I had to put in the full email address.
  23. Now that's a conundrum. One of the main reasons for staying with hp for me is I love their cli but I also like the convenience of the gui for that quick overview of what is going on. I also love the menu driven cli in hp, a really nice happy medium. @richbrowncardiff have you missed the cli? Have your switches got serial ports? If so what good are they if they are gui driven? I honestly thought the main difference between them too was that one was silver and one was black lol.
