That's why it works then. The dhcp server will be broadcasting on that subnet. If the dhcp server is in a different vlan you need an ip helper configured on the router
-
So is your lan a flat lan?
-
Just reread your posts. Not sure you can have Smoothwall dhcp for some vlans and another dhcp for others. You have the option for dhcp relay which would allow you to use another dhcp but can't see how you would mix them
-
You need to set the ip helper on your router. If smooth wall is routing your vlans you need to set up there. Not sure you can though. Have you considered using one of your switches as the router. Are any L3 switches? Our core switch routes LAN vlans and Smoothwall does our wireless vlans

My nps is server 2016 and we have win 10 clients authd with radius. I'll pop my gpo up a bit later after briefing -
Should say 3 cabs currently with 10g switches. I have around 25 cabs in total
-
I only have 3 cabs with 10g switches so the unifi 48 switch with sfp+ ports is saving me money. Love the central management and stats too. They work fine mixed with other brands even with vlans. That's why we have iso standards

Neccrooopost!

I'd prefer unifi switches over 1920 hp. Can't afford hp kit anymore and unifi has come to the rescue

I paid £21 per licence last year for 25 licences -
Would be nice if the next version of sims there was an api which we could use to do these kinds of things
-
Nice one guys. Shame you can't do this with sims passwords too
-
If you have an ees licence dpm is included. We use the latest version dpm 2016 which fits our needs perfectly. Integrates with windows file servers too to manage previous versions centrally

Yeh. I'd just delete the device in sccm and on rediscovery should be fine again -
We use zabbix too. Nice bit of kit for free

Slam in an ssd. Job done. For under 100 quid you can get yourself a decent Samsung ssd with cloning software included

I've given up security marking in favour of security asset labels that disintegrate if you try to remove them.

We moved to osticket this year from op support desk. Never looked back. So many bugs with opsd

This.... that would be immense

I have started to roll out casio led projectors. Lamp life is supposed to be 20000 hours, which at 8 hours a day, 200 days a year should mean 12 years on life. Used them in other schools I've worked in and love the zero maintenance. 5 years warranty too. These are the bad boys we have been buying https://www.casio.co.uk/products/projectors/signature-series/product/?v=XJ-V10X-UJ 1.5x zoom means really flexible install and 3300 lumens

+1 for rbs. 1st year for us. Saved me 3 days of setting up timetabled bookings. Worth every penny
