    Hi all, I'm trying to access my vSphere Web Administration Console working to connect to a vSphere Server running on an ESXi 5.1 host. In IE11 am getting the dreaded 'There is a problem with this website's security certificate' error. I had this working last week and its stopped. The servers running fine - I can access the vSphere Server using vSphere Client but not the web console. Can anyone tell me the method of getting the certificate to work? I've followed a few guides and imported rui.crt and cacert.pem from 'C:\ProgramData\VMware\vSphere Web Client\ssl' (on the server) but to no avail. Done this on the server running vSphere Server and on my local machine. On the server I get 'Continue to this website (not recommended)' , after that a blank window. On my PC I get 'There is a problem with this website’s security certificate' and no option to continue. VMWare kb's say to use a cert from a trusted authority but there's no need for that as its only running on my Intranet. Please help Thanks in advance

    Get a Mac mini. You'll pick one up for about £300. Mind you Apples are bloody awful to use. Horrible little things.

    I separate mine out for simplicity. -> Internet settings -> Folder redirection -> User Security -> Printers install -> Drive maps etc etc etc

    Same here. Mandatory profiles for pupils, roaming for staff. Can make a VPN and bit sluggish but hey. You at least need to folder redirect My Docs and Desktop otherwise logon will take an age.

    I'm thinking a read only feed. The pupils won't have phones, just the teacher. Basically so she can keep the parents updated on how they are, what they're doing etc, without subscribers being able to send replies.

    Oh cheers. So do parent need to download an app and subscribe or do they need an O365 account.

    Hi all, quick question... Got a school trip going abroad for a week and the teacher wants to communicate with the school / parents via Twitter. Can you set up a Twitter feed where subscribers can't reply ? e.g. read only Or is Facebook a better option. I'm not a girl so I don't know Cheers in advance.

    F12 is the one. Be aware of this... I could never get WDS running on a VM unless the images were stored within the VM. i.e. mine won't deploy if images are not stored on a 'local' drive. It munches up disk space. A SAN may be different. I was trying to store images on a NAS with a mapped drive and it wouldn't have it.

    I pretty much always stay one version back. On 7 at the mo, I wont be deploying Win 8 however because its awful, so maybe summer 16 possibly 17.

    Leave the host OS on the first array then move the VM's onto the second.. or just create another datastore on the new array? Could do it that way. Was thinking of moving it wholesale but that would provide more resilience @tjay. Great idea. Cheers m8

    Or this... HP Support document - HP Support Center Server is an HP DL360p Gen8 with the standard RAID controller.... hence RAID 1. Not sure if the array will come out at 4TB though.

    But they wont be. Existing disks are 1TB. New disks will be 4TB

    My reason for posting is that I'm presuming that if I add a 4TB disk to a 1TB disk array it will only build the array on the disk as 1TB regardless of size, unless you mean let the array populate the new disks then remove the originals, then increase it. I don't know if that will work without trying it

    Hi all, I'm running out of space on my Virtual host running VMWare Esxi - Haven't got a replica server yet. I'm doing this in order to free up a physical server to use a replication server but need more space. Currently have 2 x 1tb Disks in a RAID 1 array with a hot spare. I've got 4 spare disk slots in the server so I can build a new array with bigger disks. How will I copy the first array's data over without having to do a re-install of VMWare?
