We have a course that has end of module quizzes, and want to produce a certificate at the end of the course, that shows the modules and the marks for each one. I can see how to add a certificate to a single quiz, but not how to link it to multiple quizzes? I've tried google, but my Foo is weak. Can anyone help/point me at a solution?

We're using Chromium OS on USB pens on some of our old netbooks. Although, some websites are not working correctly as the images are not appearing. Also, when we try to login with a Microsoft account the sign on the page goes blank.Any ideas to fix this? These computers are not managed by Google's manager or anything. Just individually setup.

Does anyone use SIMS to generate either lists for celebratory certificates or actually produce the certificate using a template? Currently I have a system that a member of the office staff submits csv sheets through a web end to an Access DB and the system then tallys how many nominations a child has had for a subject and can print out different level of certificates depending on the number they have. The problem is staff can't seem to spell students name correctly, get tutor groups right or remember if they have nominated the student all ready higher up the page. In my mind there should be a way to use the behaviour log in SIMS to enter a certain mark and then from this generate who has has how many from each subject, & either then feed that into a mailmerge or preferably a report from SIMS would print out the certificate. So anyone doing this all ready or know for definate it is possible?

Gahhh! Okay so here's the problem: We've set up exchange and got outlook web access and all that lovely stuff. We've made our own temporary certificate which of course makes IE scream 'ITS DANGEROUS JIM, DONT CLICK IT'. Of course, everyone must accept the certificate in order to get into their mail. Well, I've been tasked in getting a genuine certificate for the server to shut up this message, except I'm not entirely sure of: a) What certificate to get *exactly* b) How to go about installing it (although this is not the big kicker). Here's our incredibly fubar setup: Our Internal Mail Server uses a smart host at SWGfL for delivery. Our outfacing website (.org) REDIRECTS to a subdomain of our SWGfL website (.sch.uk) which is bound to the IP of our OWA webserver. Our email addresses all use the domain name of the outfacing website. RIGHT! So what certificate must we install onto our mail server in order to have it all work from our .org site? Do I use the domain name of the .org, or the .sch.uk or something else? *headache* Many thanks in advance.

Hi all, I'm trying to access my vSphere Web Administration Console working to connect to a vSphere Server running on an ESXi 5.1 host. In IE11 am getting the dreaded 'There is a problem with this website's security certificate' error. I had this working last week and its stopped. The servers running fine - I can access the vSphere Server using vSphere Client but not the web console. Can anyone tell me the method of getting the certificate to work? I've followed a few guides and imported rui.crt and cacert.pem from 'C:\ProgramData\VMware\vSphere Web Client\ssl' (on the server) but to no avail. Done this on the server running vSphere Server and on my local machine. On the server I get 'Continue to this website (not recommended)' , after that a blank window. On my PC I get 'There is a problem with this website’s security certificate' and no option to continue. VMWare kb's say to use a cert from a trusted authority but there's no need for that as its only running on my Intranet. Please help Thanks in advance

I wasn't sure where to post this but I've been an ICT technician in Primary school's (two of) for about 10 years now and have no professional ICT qualifications... What would you recommend I do to gain a respectable qualification? My experience so far in the time I have been doing is is Web design, hardware support, network management and software. I also have experience in using Windows server 2003 with Active Directory. Hope you can help so I can persuade school to let me do some studying J x

I have an inordinate number of tabs open at the moment about migrating a certificate authority from an x86 2003 DC to an x64 2008R2 DC with a different name and they all look, well, involved. Anything involving registry edits on a domain controller makes me think that maybe there's an easier way. Looking at my existing CA, the only certificates currently valid are for the SSL connection on our ePortal page - easy enough to redo with new certificates. There's no EFS certificates, no connection certificates, nothing else special. Am I better off just destroying the existing CA and setting a new one up?

I have a Lync 2010 system with topology as follows: Microsoft Forefront TMG -> Kemp load balancer -> (2) Lync Front End servers, (2) Lync Edge servers, (2) certificate servers, a monitoring server, and of course a few appliances to handle SIP and what not. I've been working on this problem for a while, trying to learn my way through it, but it has become more urgent so now it's time to ask for help. Users attempting to connect to Lync (using the soft client) from outside of our main employee network encounter SSL certificate errors ever since our old certificate expired. Using a web browser to connect to some of our Lync service host names, it is possible to see the old certificate still in place and expired. I cannot find the offending certificate; I believe I've replaced it everywhere with a new one. The Lync Web Service certificate is definitely where the problem is, although I can't say for sure if the problem is anywhere else also. When I run Get-CsCertificate | fl I see only up-to-date certificates. They are listed for Default, WebServicesInternal, and WebServicesExternal. Looking in the Certification Authority MMC and IIS Manager on all my servers and checking in the load balancer I cannot find the expired certificate. Where else should I look for it?

I've just set it up and although it seems to work fine, I'm a little confused. So I've added the RM cert to the trusted root of every PC & I've redirected to the new "sslfilter.proxy.swgfl.org.uk:8080". Now when I go to a https site I was expecting to see an RM cert on the padlock. I don't though, it looks normal, the cert chain goes to godaddy or where ever. Am I wrong...

Hello all, I'm having an issue with SSL Certs installed on machines around the building. Here's the situation: - Client machines aren't able to open Outlook: it's giving them a Proxy error when they try. - On Group Policy, the latest SSL certificates are set to install on each machine (AllWorkstations group) - Also on GP, the cert auto-enrollment is set up to renew and remove expired certificates - Upon restarting an affected machine, the certs don't install - I can install them manually by logging on as myself (administrator) and importing the certificates, which then fixes the issue. I've found that the expired old certificates (with the same name as the new ones) are still installed on the affected machines, so my feeling is that Group Policy thinks they are already there so don't need 'reinstalling'. So I have a couple of questions: - Rather than going through every computer and removing the old ones, is there a Powershell command I can use to do so for me? - Where would I need to open the Powershell? On the 'main server'? The email server? etc.? Let me know if you need additional info, I've quite literally never used Powershell before so guidance is appreciated.
