Updated iTunes - same. Set a password - Ipad prompts for the password, re-prompts, then does the same. Communication between the iPad and PC seem OK. Looks like an authentication problem... but what ?? Same result with or without the AirServer app. On a Ruckus WiFi network. Network isolation is off.

I'm actually trying it on IOS 8 and 9. Both give the same. Having iTunes on the PC shouldn't matter ????

No VLANs here. Im using the QR code to identify the PC. No password set.

I'm playing with AirServer right now. Just downloaded it. I can't seem to get a device to connect. IOS 8 & 9. AirPlay finds the PC, scans the QR OK. I select the PC and turn on mirroring. Nothing happens. After 5 seconds AirPlay switches the tick back to 'Ipad'. Nice strong WiFi signal. No internal firewall here or on the PC. Anyone got any idea's ??? Cheers

I've got one of those too. Thats an idea. I really wanted to hook up a single network share for each class that only they could access with a login. I might be expecting too much there!

Hi all, After some advice. Got loads of Ipads. Kids share them. a) What free app can I easily set up so kids can transfer photo's from the Ipad to several different class network shares - with the minimum of kids input - Primary - and non cloud based. (Or teachers input for that matter) (Or Mine!) b) Easy way to remotely delete photos and other cr@p that accumulates Cheers in advance

I do a 'forgot my password' on iforgot.com. Forward the old users email to mine, hit the link, then do a 'wipe my ipad' from icloud. I did it recently... I'm sure thats how I did it.

Bit late but... Managed to do these by running them through Apple Configurator again. That did the reset. Oooohhh Apple !!!!!

I am missing something obvious... I think I just answered this myself above.... There is a GPO that I've got set to launch the client upon login.... its obviously not applying the GPO. Back to that then ..... !!!!!!

Hey all, Wondering if anyone has experienced this... I'm scratching my head here ! Bunch of new PC's went in over the summer. All set up with a nice new software image. They've been running fine for a couple of weeks but last week, for quite a few users - all using the new machines - the 'virtual' printer disappeared and the Papercut MF Client doesn't start on log in. I've had to re-add the printer and manually open the client from the program menu. Then everything works like it should. Its only happening on these new machines (all in the same OU - printer deployed per user from Server 2012. The same user working on their laptop - works as normal - no problem. One thing I was getting on a few of them during the summer was that group policy failed for 'Computer Configuration' only. --> 'The network was not started or not present' error. Only other GPO changes I've made since then is deploying Chrome and the ADMX templates. Am I missing something obvious here ? Cheers in advance

I can't get any of the chrome GPO settings to work. Workstations just won't pick them up. I'm using ADMX and 'User Configuration' settings - Chrome Enterprise v.45 Lots of stuff on the net about these not working. V frustrating

Hey all.... Got 3 Ipads here that staff leavers have left. Just come to set them up for new staff and guess what ?? I can't do it without their Crapple ID and password. Tried a restore with Itunes - Nope Apple configurator - Nope. Anyone got a workaround or hack to get these thing reset. They are MDM managed with Meraki but reset won't work from there. Hi all, I'm looking at syncing our local staff public drives on O365. There's about 2TB. Am I able to do this with that much data? e.g. shared data for all users (read/write) in the cloud synced with the LAN... that doesn't have the 1TB per account restriction.... or should I be looking at Sharepoint ? I worked this out in the end. 1. Driver was latest generic Sharp driver - Installed the latest drivers for each machine ...... still didn't work 2. Changed the virtual print queue driver to the latest driver for the highest MFD model .... Bingo !!!! Still funny it wasn't affecting ALL the users though. HHhhhmmmmmm

@abillybob Ebuyer do have an education sales dept and also a server sales guy called Alex who is very good. They've beaten most competitors for me, especially when it comes to buying disks, RAM etc. Remember that sever won't come with any RAM, hard disks, disk caddies, 2nd power supply. You also want one extra disk at least as a spare in your RAID array. The cost will soon ramp up. A £2K server suddenly becomes £4K. Magic!

Using Roaming Profiles? I seem to remember it was something to do with that or it might have been folder redirection. There's a setting in Office in the options where you stipulate where the data files and templates live. Have a check of that.
