mattpant Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 So I'm best man for a mates wedding and we have got the "Stag Do" this weekend (30th June). Has anybody got any ideas of party games/dares that they have tried and tested on such occasions in the past!! Thanks Matt
Flatpackhamster Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 Have you played Ibble Dibble? You need drink, and a wine cork (a proper one, not a plastic one) and a lighter. Firstly, take the lighter and burn the end of the cork so it blackens and goes nicely charcoalled. Everyone sits in a circle, and gets allocated a number. The player who starts takes the number one. The first player says "This is Ibble Dibble number 1, with no spots, calling Ibble Dibble number (choose a number), with no spots, Ibble Dibble. Each player then has to follow this on, choosing a person and getting their number of spots right and the sentence correct. Every time you make a mistake, either with your number, or their number, or the number of spots or the sentence, you have to take a drink, and you get a charcoal 'spot' on your face from the burned cork. Some years ago I played this with friends on a Friday night. After colossal amounts of Ibble Dibble and vodka we all went home/to sleep. One of my friends overslept and was due in work on Saturday morning. He flung on his suit, didn't wash or shave or shower and hopped straight on the train, and didn't realise until he reached the office washroom that he was still covered in charcoal blotches. He did say he wondered why everyone was giving him funny looks.
Netwacky87 Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 Always a good laugh (looks complicated but gets very easy...very quickly!) Kings Drinking Game: Rules & How to Play the Best of the Beer Drinking Card Games Obivously will have to change Card 4 for something else Mart
BKGarry Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 Simple one here, called back fire. Everyone writes down a truth and dare for the stag on a piece of paper, then when they are done you announce that the game is back fire, and they all have to do their own truth or dare 1
BKGarry Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 also a scavenger hunt list, ideas here Stag Party: Bachelor's Todo List.
3s-gtech Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 Our uni favourite was 21. Object of the game is to count to 21 as a group. Person who lost the last round starts on 1. If he says 'to my right, 1' the person to the right says '2...'. If he says 'to my right, 1,2' the person to the left says '3...' If he says 'to my right, 1,2,3' the person one over to the right says '4...' Each person can say one, two or three numbers, but you can't say two after the last person says two, or three after three (you can't double a double or triple a triple). So, you have to listen carefully to the numbers the last person said, and the number of numbers! It sounds complicated, but it really isn't. Yet. Once you get to 21 as a group, the person that says '21' has to drink (or forfeit) - they usually don't end up saying it - an appropriate expletive is usually inserted. It's often possible to play tactically as a group and pick on particular people with a bit of ganging up, ideal for a stag! If you find it's too easy, you start substituting numbers for words. So if 14 became 'beef' it goes '...11, 12, 13, beef, 15...'. Starts to get hard when you run out of numbers! Epic game.
6Foot2 Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 This thread has covered the 'stag do' topic already: Link: http://www.edugeek.net/forums/general-chat/92226-stag-do.html Might be worth a look?
mattpant Posted June 25, 2012 Author Posted June 25, 2012 Thanks Guys for the posts, will take a look over them! Cheers Matt
sippo Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 Games don't tend to work in my experience. Just about drinking. The only thing I'd recommend is a kitty. So much easier. 1
Iain.Faulkner Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 Bit like ibble dibble....but called G'day bruce...everyone starts off as bruce, and you have to say g'day to each other until you make a mistake, at which point the person who makes the mistake takes up a different aussie based name and takes a drink (sheila for example). So it goes a little like this...... Person 1 - G'Day Bruce Person 2 - G'day Bruce Person 1 - Say g'day to bruce, bruce (whilst nodding in the direction of another person) Person 2 - G'day bruce Person 3 - G'day bruce Person 2 - say g'day to bruce, bruce (whilst nodding in the direction of person 4) And so on....it's very funny (might lose something just in text) but the range of names makes it hilarious (think sheila, kylie, jason, bouncer, mrs mangel etc etc)
laserblazer Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 Draughts: Best played on a tiled surface. Mark out an 8x8 grid. Get 24 bottles/cans of beer/lager 12 of one brand, 12 of another. Then play draughts. If your man is taken, you have to drink it in one go. The more you drink, the more mistakes you make.

mole Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 Drink, Drink, Drink til it's coming out your ears. Drink, Drink, Drink til the pub runs out of beers.
penfold_99 Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 A tried and tested formula is keep the game simple but gradually add more and more. If the time is 0-29 then drink from left hand and 31-59 drink from right hand and if it's either 30 or 60 drink with 2 hands. You can the add the pinky requirement. Then assign random nicknames and if they call a person by their really name then they have a forfeit. Then add no pointing with fingers or hands. All forfeits result in 3 fingers of the culprits drink.
penfold_99 Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 The Withnail and I Drinking Game Instructions - Drink Along with Withnail I got the DVD and lighter fluid for a bizarre secret Santa, I am yet to watch the film or drink the lighter.
sonofsanta Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 I Have Never is always good for stitching up. Go round the table, taking it in turns to say "I have never..." (kissed a man, worn a dress, etc.) and everyone who has done that has to take a drink (nominally two fingers of a pint). This starts off as just thinking of things you have never done, but soon ends up with trying to think of things you know one of your mates has done so you can force him to own up to it. It's like a manlier truth or dare. Alternatively, the Name Game. Start off with a celebrity (Rick Astley) and the person to your left then has to come up with another celebrity whose name starts with the first letter of the surname (Andrea Turner, then Tom Cruise). If you get someone who has the same first letter for first and last name (Charlie Chaplin), the direction reverses. The drinking comes because you have to Drink While You Think, so a constant supping of pint whilst you scramble to think of a name, and if you run out of drink before you come up with a name you're out. Last one in wins. Both of these have ended messily for me in the past. Advantage of them is you don't need anything other than a pint to play.
accura2000 Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 Always found the Tampax Challenge. Take 2 tampax's and put them both in your mount (one in each cheek) and try to down a pint... Looser forfeits or even use this as a forfeit? Good laugh though

glennda Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 Dirty Pint - find out how much a shot is - and for everybody there they buy a different shot stick it in a pint glass and make him drink it!

Fuzzy Duck goes one way and you can change direction with Ducky Fuzz!!! Speak carefully as it is 2 fingers when you get it wrong
Mcshammer_dj Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 Dirty Pint - find out how much a shot is - and for everybody there they buy a different shot stick it in a pint glass and make him drink it! Old uni Rugby game.. Get rounds in of lager and keep filling the table with the rule being simple grab the next available glass from the table. During the evening all visit Gents and help to fill the stags special glass, allow to cool and then place on table ensuring all but the stag know which glass to avoid...........
glennda Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 Also Shot roulette - get a hell of a lot of shot glasses fill some with vodka and some with water and then get dice and through - what it lands on you have to drink - gets very messy!!
penfold_99 Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 There is also centurion, have a shot of lager every minute, sounds easy but a slow burning and guaranteed messiness
mattpant Posted June 28, 2012 Author Posted June 28, 2012 Cheers Guys for all the suggestions... sounds like we're going to have a messy night come Saturday!!
