  1. Census as a concept (ie each doing doing it) will be retired as data exchange enables regular flow flow to the dfe. This allows the dfe to centrally perform a snapshot that fulfills the requirement of census. School 2 Schools transfers have been part of the alpha stage of the project.
  2. A ZIS is based on version 2.X of the SIF Specification but there is a now a version 3 of the specification is uses a REST base API. The switch to rest was made to lower the barrier to entry for developers. There is a open source developer framework available at https://github.com/access4learning.
  3. That's a bit harsh, its more like speaking both parties speak English but use a custom semaphore to communicate.
  4. The ZIS follows standard SIF, but Capita's SIF agent for SIMS/Partnership Exchange is non standard SIF, so it would be doubtful that you will be able to request data from it. The reason it refers to Pearson is they had original had a commercial ADK but later opened sourced it and its now available at https://github.com/open-adk.
  5. Given the scale of the purge by their president it does have the hallmarks of a false flag operation. Why else would they instantly arrest judges, ban teachers etc if it were not pre planned.
  6. Have a look here http://www.edugeek.net/forums/classified-adverts/171182-does-anyone-need-some-smartboards.html
  7. Sorry but my post wasn't about the Referendum it was about the disregardful use of a phrase by farage.
  8. Basically Jack Bauer as President. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N_f1v0Nx5Sw The plot reminds me of a Tom Clancy Book.

  9. We have been looking at Unifi wireless and networking kit and it can do what you want. This ap support 4 ssids and multiple vlans https://www.ubnt.com/unifi/unifi-ap-ac-pro/ You need a server to run the controller software to manage it or get the cloud key
  10. That's why you probably got included in the the EPO doping rumours that were in the papers along with Arsenal, Chelsea and Birmingham City. We have been lucky with injuries, only one major one during foul play, look at united and liverpool who have had an injury list as long as your arm due to over training in a short period of time.
  11. Leicester are as bad as City when it comes to bending the FFP rules, when they were in the champion chip they sold there international marketing rights a third party who then sold them on King Power. This allowed additional income into the club which magically filled the massive overspend and stopped them breaching FFP rules. It will be interesting if Leicester can keep this form going in 4 completions next year, I think they played 41 and spurs played 51 games this season. Add to this all 11 spurs first team players are internationals and played all international games and Leicester have ~4 and they only played 2 additional games.
  12. As a spurs fans, I would completely agree that the team lost it but it did make a change for us to be kick lumps out of Chelsea as this is their normal MO. Dembele did poke Costas but Costa did make a meal of it as he grabbed the wrong eye. Lamela probably did tread on Fabregas's hand but not sure if it was deliberate as he looking in the other direction but then Fabregas rolls a country mile afterwards and trying to grab Lamela's leg trying to get him sent off.
  13. The sell2wales site lists all uk tenders, bit like contracts finder but available in Welsh.
  14. Doh, it would help if I included the link. The contract is here https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/search/show/Search_View.aspx?id=APR129864 This one is for Capita SIMS.
  15. I'm not sure why such a short extension would be required unless they were going to renew collectively as LGSS instead of each authority. If they are going to sign as a collective it would have been interesting if they retender.
  16. Sky are taking a massive gamble with this, F1 has the potential to be a lame duck by 2019 if nothing is don't to sort out the governance and appeal of the sport. Mercedes walked it last year but it was at least if was more of a spectacle then when Schumacher was the only one in the race. If the FIA, BE and Teams don't sort themselves out drivers will walk away and start GP1.
  17. If you have a couple of credit cards with either not much or nothing on them then consolidate the debt by doing balance transfers, there are some good deal about. Also close any unused credit cards it not always about how much you owe but how much available credit you already have. Banks look at your total credit and if a new application for a loan takes you over their acceptable total limit you will be declined. I had this years ago when getting finance on a car, the previous finance company took ages to mark the previous loan as paid in full so with that value plus a new car value it look like a owed tens of thousands when in fact i didn't.
  18. @CyberNerd Are you currently using classroom? The integration is pretty straightforward so wouldnt be too complex to setup. Fancy being a test site?
  19. You what.... falls off chair, get back in it .... you what...... goes for a lie down as just cant comprehend that statement.

    F1 Chat

The pot going to teams would be less the CVC cut. So Haas F1 are going to have to pay millions on transport that other teams don't, not very fair for them.

This has the potential to take racing back to a procession it previously was. Overtaking will be reduced as tyres won't be degrading so quickly. Everyone knows a car should be able to complete a race without refuelling, if they are going to keep the flow rate the same then this is just a weight saving measure to speed the cars up. F1 needs to fundamentally change how teams are funded and remove the consolidation of power within the sport from elite teams. The pot of money going to teams needs to be split 50/40/10, 50% split equally between all teams as a fixed amount. 40% used as prize money and 10% used to support smaller teams as they won't have the sponsorship large teams have. F1 should pay for transport costs for all teams not just the top 6 teams. I don't see why the cars need to go faster, from my perception the faster they go the amount of wheel to wheel racing goes down.
  22. I can send you a snippet of code you can add to your config.php will set the $CFG->wwwroot correctly when viewed over http or HTTPS.
  23. Nice work. What is the output like compared to the papercut widgets?
  24. The papercut block is now part of the ZiLink plugins that are available from moodle.org. if you only need papercut then just download the plugins and there dependencies, if you only need the papercut bit and not mis integration you've got everything installed you need, you just need to configure the settings for papercut. AFAIK you can setup ntlm sso with papercut so you would just need a link from moodle to the papercut server windows will log you in.
  25. There may be an issue with the url and the trust of any ssl certificate the papercut server is using.
