Empty garage of junk 4. Drink Jack Daniels 5. Play Skyrim Can anyone see any ptential roblems with this lists?
Iain.Faulkner Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Mine... Go to Dublin, Drink Guinness :-) (not necessarily in that order :-) ). 1
K.C.Leblanc Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Mine... Go to Dublin, Drink Guinness :-) (not necessarily in that order :-) ). Well said, just remember Dublin has some of the slowest Guiness in the world. In one pub I ordered a Guiness & a cheese and ham toastie. Guess which arrived first?
jdoyle Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 I have some Dubliners coming over to me next week - mother in law, sister in law and niece (they hunt in packs) May get them to do the jobs tech_guy has listed.
sidewinder Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 4 should go at thye top. Then please post pictures of the results of 1 and 2 1
teejay Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Mine... Go to Dublin, Drink Guinness :-) (not necessarily in that order :-) ). Stuff the Guinness, get yourself round to Porterhouse in the Temple Bar area and sample their stuff, far superior to the mass produced black stuff
tumbleweed Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 You need one more item to make 6, and then roll a die.
K.C.Leblanc Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Stuff the Guinness, get yourself round to Porterhouse in the Temple Bar area and sample their stuff, far superior to the mass produced black stuff Bother, I completely missed the Porterhouse. If you fancy a bit of a walk Anso on south Camden street is cool. Then please post pictures of the results of 1 and 2 And 4. 1
seacider Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Just drop the first three as low priority:D 1
mac_shinobi Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 A week off work, hmmm, need a list otherwise I'll end up doing nothing..... 1. Decorate bathroom ceiling 2. Paint doors in hallway 3. Empty garage of junk 4. Drink Jack Daniels 5. Play Skyrim Can anyone see any ptential roblems with this lists? Options 1, 2 and 3 will be problematic, 4 and 5 sound much better !!
teejay Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 The order should be 4,5 repeated enough times so the 1 and 2 are completed with a pebble dash effect. That just leaves 3, which as long as it's not attached to the house can be solved with petrol and a match, leaving more time for 4 & 5....
Rawns Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Mine... Go to Dublin, Drink Guinness :-) (not necessarily in that order :-) ). Do it in that order. The Guinness there is superb and will only highlight the difference in the taste of the stuff that's travelled to England!!!! 1
Iain.Faulkner Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Stuff the Guinness, get yourself round to Porterhouse in the Temple Bar area and sample their stuff, far superior to the mass produced black stuff I have had some of the porterhouse stuff in a bar in london.....name escapes me.....when I was down at Bett this year, Porterhouse red, that was stunning. @bandgeekmafia78 made me try a pint of Oyster as well...that was truly vile stuff.
Davit2005 Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 I'm in work most of it to get a few things done without the constant wants, good ideas, it doesn't work etc. etc. etc. Then Monday have half the staff say "Did you have a nice break?" while I think, yes I had a very nice break thankyou. Thank god for half terms :-P

That would be the Porterhouse bar in London, they opened it a few years ago. Yes the red is very nice, I rather like the Oyster as well, dunno what you're moaning about:p

bandgeekmafia78 Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 @Iain.Faulkner Oyster is a brilliant pint, stop being a big girl!
teejay Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 @Iain.Faulkner Oyster is a brilliant pint, stop being a big girl! Yep, Oyster is lightweight compared to our locally brewed porter, which is served with a knife and fork...
