Thanks for this. The hard cache reset seemed to work at first, but we're finding that it simply pulls through the outstanding email waiting to land in the inbox before the issue reappears. I'll reach out to MS Support via Admin Center. Cheers.

Yes, this has been happening at my school for several days - it seems to be impacting both browser-based and desktop application versions of Outlook. Microsoft's Service Heath page acknowledged it as an issue yesterday too. Have you managed to figure out a workaround which doesn't involve users constantly having to refresh their page?

Hi. I'm rolling-out Impero to a Mac-based College. The Impero Client and Server install are fine. However, on the Mac which the teacher will use in the classroom, I cannot seem to locate the Impero Console link so that they can use the Classroom Management tools. When I've deployed Impero at Windows-based Colleges in the past, the Impero Console software seems to be installed along side the client, so I'm a bit confused. Is there a separate installer for Impero Console on Macs? All of the teaching staff use Macs so I'm hoping the Console isn't Windows OS only. Thanks.

Classic Gremlins in Operation (Unifi)
bandgeekmafia78 replied to SimpleSi's topic in Wireless Networks
One thing to also consider is that UniFi AP's need 22w power, and older PoE switches are 15w. They often show up as working fine but as soon as you try connecting to one it drops out and resets, with no trace on the controller. Therefore make sure your PoE switch is 802.3at (30w PoE+) rather than 802.3af. -
I've got a Nikon D3200 and it's great.

Thanks sonofsanta, I've just spent my birthday money of all of the equipment you suggested. I'm sure my missus will be delighted... Can the fermentation process take place in an area such as a cellar (which is a little bit damp) or does it have to be in completely dry conditions? Also, when you are bottling/capping the ale, will there be yeast in the final brew or does this settle at the bottom of the pressure barrel? I also heard that adding malt extract instead of 1Kg sugar is fine. Is that true?

Emergency telephone line is down - H&S implications?
bandgeekmafia78 replied to bandgeekmafia78's topic in Physical Security
Thanks a million localzuk - that is a perfect response! *thumbs up* -
Hi. The BT telephone exchange near my School has a fault which means that our phones won't accept incoming or outbound calls. This also means that our 'emergency line' which dials the fire service if there is a fire on the premises is also down. Does anyone know what the implications of this are in terms of safeguarding and health & safety? We have one line which is on a seperate exchange so we still have the possibilty of calling the emergency services manually. We obviously have mobiles too. Thanks.

We have just started using cloud-based backups for our SIMS and FMS data, just to bring us even more contingency. The rest of our data is backed-up onto a Tandberg LTO4 Storageloader. We have so much data that it is far too expensive to backup to the cloud.

[ms office - 2003] Why does Office think I'm offline?
bandgeekmafia78 replied to bandgeekmafia78's topic in Office Software
For anyone else seeing this problem, the way I fixed it was by tweaking the Registry: HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\NlaSvc\Parameters\Internet on "EnableActiveProbing" - Change the value to 0. -

Try running sims with elevated administrator privelages - its a checkbox on the 'compatability' tab of sims.net properties.
