CHR1S Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 interesting.. how comes you went for the SE interior and badged it as a SE? So it can have the resale value of an SE
glensc Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 interesting.. how comes you went for the SE interior and badged it as a SE? I didn't get it new so I'm not certain why the first owner did it that way, possibly insurance differences as when I got it they never seemed quite sure where to put it in their schemes. Another possibility is they had 3 older children, as the SE interior is slightly more 5 person freindly than the Aero one. Personaly I like it like that way because, as far as Master J. Rider is concerned, there's nothing to show it's anything other than a 135bph family car.
PaulColes88 Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Ford Focus 1.6 slightly moded with *Fusion Bass!!*
garethEds Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Well this morning I crashed my 320D Touring. Not so much totalled it but damaged all along the passenger side. Driving out of a garage after filling up with diesel and there is a huge crunch. Stop, get out to see my car had scraped against a bollard so low down that no way was i going to see it. I'm nopt amused. :-( I doubt I can claim against the garage because they will say I should have seen it. GJE
JAB1a Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Mine brings a smile to my face and the requirement for new boxers everytime I take this out almost. Nissan 200sx S14, full Apex exhaust, Walbro pump, colder plugs, 216Bhp 210tourque all to the rear wheels in something that weights less than a crisp packet
Nikthomas Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Got rid of the peugeot 306 and purchased a 2005 Civic Type R a few weeks ago Its insane & i love it!!!
CHR1S Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 BMW M3 recently purchased. amazing!! Nice, new style or old? Im swinging towards a 335D MSport
rush_tech Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 I've just brought a Astra 19 CDTi Sri (150) its very nice!!! http://i249.photobucket.com/albums/gg229/meerkat33/Car/003.jpg
AIT Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Nice, new style or old? Im swinging towards a 335D MSport New shape. 335d is very nice car. obviously less hp but loads more torque.. test drove loads if you do the miles but still want a fast car that is definitly for you. p.s. 335i is also an incredibly bit of kit. in acceleration can easily keep up with me.
westleya Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Got rid of the peugeot 306 and purchased a 2005 Civic Type R a few weeks ago Its insane & i love it!!! Ooooh, they're bonkers, them. Drove a few when I worked for a Honda garage. Much fun to be had once you get it up to 6000rpm at which point it goes balistic.

Thats the thing, I cant choose!! Both have a healthy stock bhp/nm and both get nice increases from tuning. I currently get on average 19mpg in my Audi to and from work and want to see a better return in my next car but still have that wow factor! Spose a hard day test driving both is in order hehe
garethEds Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Nice, new style or old? Im swinging towards a 335D MSport Whilst not as fast or sporty as the ones you mention, my 320D Touring is an amazing drive. I just cannot drive it enough. Although saying that the tyres are expensive even with blackcircles.co.uk Am also in the process of moving my wife over from a Mini One Convertible to a 1 Series diesel. GJE
ICT_GUY Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 My Honds Civic has started to p**s petrol over the floor, I am just trying to figure out how to lift it up and rub its nose in it whilst crying over how much money is evaporating on the floor.
accura2000 Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 My little baby is a Vectra SRI called Vikki, she goes very well, even the police officer said he had to toe it to keep up with me on the motorway at 1 in the morning. Perhaps 140mph was a tad fast.

ahuxham Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 Lol i thought it was an instant ban at those speeds I thought they did as well, as long as they can prove it was you driving. Bit hard to enforce when you get caught by a camera as driving at 140mph+ in modern sports cars implies you have some money, therefore the lawyers come out and argue you weren't drive and to prove it. I always wondered how that worked for a defence, if you weren't driving who was? Was it borrowed? Was it stolen, who was it borrowed to, when and where was it stolen, how was it recovered, did you report it, and the likes, defiantly a loop hole there somewhere. Same as speed camera's, if you caught doing say 36 in a 30 for example, just argue the case, and ask for all the recent calibration data and the specifics the camera is calibrated too. Obviously doing 45 in a 30 isn't going to help, the close to 33 you are or Speed Limit +10% the more likely to get off. Speed cameras have to be calibrated every two weeks, and I can certainly assure you through inside information, that this is very rare, more like every two months+

Perhaps 140mph was a tad fast. I was once in a car stopped for speeding, and the driver was asked by the police officer, "having trouble taking off there Wing Commander?" Copper had a sense of humour luckily, and as it was on a well lit dual carriageway in the wee hours, the driver was cautioned. Funny thing is, the driver is now a Driving Instructor!
kurleyuk Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 I have one of the new Honda Insights. I think is really good.
accura2000 Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 Lol i thought it was an instant ban at those speeds Yes, anything on the motorway above 98.7mph is a ban but he was more impressed i got a Vectra to that speed and he had admitted that i was driving perfectly safe and that there was no other vehicles on the motorway he let me off with a tell off. I was very lucky and now dont ever speed!
