tech_guy Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 (edited) For me, it's a toss-up between the Nikon D90 DSLR, HTC Desire and my iPad, but on reflection in terms of usage and contribution to everyday working, and ownership satisfaction, the iPad wins hands down. And that's coming from someone who used to be a hater of all things Apple. What was your best buy of 2010? Edited December 23, 2010 by tech_guy
featured_spectre Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 HTC Desire...or black ops...both get equal usage from me! couple hours a day
Dos_Box Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 It's either the Nexus One or the meatball mariana from Subway.
steve Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 Either my world cup tickets or Vegas flights for NYE
tech_guy Posted December 23, 2010 Author Posted December 23, 2010 I would never buy anything from Chavway, not after that YouTube video of the sandwich guy sticking lettuce up his nose and then putting it back.....yuk!
strawberry Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 htc desire, xbox or the server rack I purchased this year, 5 years into this industry and i've never had a proper one before!
sted Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 amazon kindle no contest followed by my new tv and amp
jedmondson Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 I jointly got a kindle for my sister this year as she is doing English at uni just hope she uses it. strangely the item with the most use has been my sata/ide hdd dock.
BTCC_Fan Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 My car! To be precise my 2002 '51' Ford Ka 1.3. Its given me so much more freedom to go where I like, when I like so I can spend more time where I want to be rather than waiting for/on public transport. Its also enabled to get a job I wouldn't otherwise have been able to do which is good as its also a huge drain on my wallet.
john Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 Hmmm dunno, could be the Bluray player I got today (got to beat the VAT rise!) I now have easy and quick iplayer, youtube, lovefilm and many other services on my TV without needing a PC on etc,
rad Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 This - after I crashed the last one in Plymouth http://www.automotivearticles.com/uploads/focus_estate.jpg Ford Focus Estate 1.8 diesel
MatthewL Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 I think it would of been by Seat Ibiza FR and my BlackBerry Bold 9700. 2 things I get my monies worth out of.
localzuk Posted December 24, 2010 Posted December 24, 2010 I would never buy anything from Chavway, not after that YouTube video of the sandwich guy sticking lettuce up his nose and then putting it back.....yuk! Subway restaurants are franchises - so tarring the entire brand with the same brush doesn't make sense. Your local kebab place is more likely to have hygiene issues if the town I live in is anything to go by! And my purchase of the year? My second hand Canon EOS 350D. 1
Little-Miss Posted December 24, 2010 Posted December 24, 2010 Hmm, my Purple Dell Laptop and HTC Wildfire
