  1. Reports > Lesson Monitor > Module Reports > History of changes report you may need to make a change to the register yourself before it shows when the original register was taken as this only shows changes
  2. Open MSConfig On the General tab select "Selective Startup" and untick "Load Startup items" Restart and see you if still have the problem. If not run msconfig again and add some startup items on the startup tab to see if you can work out what is causing the problem. We had this problem and worked out that the securus client was causing it
  3. I have to setup a new classroom which wont need an IWB but will need a display. Rather than using a projector I wanted to put up a large screen or TV. The biggest monitor I have found is 29" but I don't think that will be be enough Q2963PM - AOC - MONITOR, 29" IPS LED, AOC, Q2963PM | CPC I have also seen a 50" tv but when I look at the technical specs it says if a static image is displayed on it for longer that 1 hour it will start to get image burn (We have similar TV's used for digital signage which has this problem) 50PA4500 - LG (ELECTRONICS) - 50" RAZOR FRAME HD PLASMA TV | CPC What has everyone else used? any recommendations?
  4. It depends which day of the week it is. I only shave once a week normally on the weekend. So Monday no beard then Friday slight beard growth.
  5. We have had a phone call from a local paper saying that the school has made it onto the governments list of 100 most improved schools I have tried finding the list online and I found a list of primary schools but we are a secondary school Can anyone point me in the direction of the list?
  6. I got a mini tool kit and a screw driver that looks like a pen from the switchshop stand. I got the mini frog space hopper, a colouring book with set of pencils from Ricoh (This went down well with my 2 year old) and a few pens. There was one stand that had footballs but I wasn't brave enough to grab one and run

  9. If I was doing this I would look to get a waterproof CCTV camera. We have some of these inside and outside, they give a really good clear image Vivotek FD8134V [V] H.264 Vandal-proof IP66 Dome Network Camera - IP Network Camera
  10. Just checked my work e-mail and I have 615 unread all from sophos with the last one received at 5:55 reporting a virus on the computer that hosts the sophos enterprise console So I assume I'm going to have a busy day!
  11. Is any one else having issues with sophos reporting a virus on all there workstation? The e-mail I'm getting is: Virus/spyware 'Shh/Updater-B' has been detected in "C:\Program Files\Sophos\Sophos Anti-Virus\Web Intelligence\swi_update.exe". Cleanup unavailable. Infected file "C:\Program Files\Sophos\Sophos Anti-Virus\Web Intelligence\swi_update.exe" has been deleted. I hope this is a false positive after sophos updating itself and not a major issue
  12. That would solve the problem but different pages have different header and right hand link modules. So we are using the "Only display on these pages" option. If I tick the "Display on all pages" button some pages then get 2 headers I can't select those pages from the list because the list only shows Menu Items and I don't want them to appear on the top menu so can't add them to it It's strange that it only happens on the front page and not any of the others
  13. The school paid an external company to design them a new website a while ago. I don't think it looks that great but it is an improvement on the previous one. It is a Joomla site (version 1.5.25) with a custom theme. There are modules for different headers and links on the right. The problem I am having is that on the front page: St Columba's | Home If you click on the links on the right ie E-Safety Information, Reflections, Weekly News The link goes to the page but that page does not show a header or right hand side module But if you go to the Staff & Email page: Staff & Email Then click on the links on the right ie E-Safety Information, Reflections, Weekly News You do get the header or right hand side module Does anyone know why this happens? Is there a way I can fix it? Arthur

  16. Just a heads up that Pearson Vue are having issues today We had some ALAN test scheduled to take place this morning but was unable to login to the ESM server software an hour and 4 phone calls later they admitted they had done some maintenance over the weekend and its not working
  17. We have some print tracking software that gives a monthly reading of how many prints a user has done. What we would like to do is charge departments. I have a list of departments and which users are in them. So I need a formula (Or a way) to count a users amount of prints if they are in a particular department then give me the total I have attached a very simplified version of how it would look. The top list is the departments and the members of the departments and below that is the users and the number of prints (If only is looked that simple in reality). So I guess it would be a bit like this, any user from A12:A23 are present in A2:A5 count the relevant cell in B12:B23. Does anyone know the best way of doing this?
  18. We have some Konica Minolta photocopiers which have CS remote care setup on them. CS Remote care sends Konica an e-mail when the photocopier needs a consumable and also our meter readings. Since we have moved over to LGFL 2.0 with Virgin Media being our ISP this no longer works as it is being blocked. I requested that the IP address of the Konica SMTP server on port 25 be unblocked but they said they can't do they. So they have said they have setup a mail relay but this is also not working. This has been going on for almost 3 weeks now and I feel like im getting no where. So my next plan was to try setting up a mail relay via our own on site exchange 2003 server. Under the SMTP virtual server in the relay restrictions settings it is set to "Only the list below" and in the list below I have added all the photocopier IP addresses. Do I need to do anything else? On the photocopiers I assume the IP of the exchange server needs to be added as the SMTP server. I want to get everything in place as I don't have access to change the CS Remote care settings on the photocopiers, I have to call out a Konica Engineer to do it.
  19. We recently purchased and installed 10 of these Vivotek FD8134V [V] H.264 Vandal-proof IP66 Dome Network Camera - IP Cameras - Domes They are easy to install and give a good clear image. For recording we have a DVR, we have the model below this one Aver EH6216H+ Hybrid DVR 16ch - 16-32 channel DVR
  20. Have you used an RM build image to build them? When we were using toshiba laptops we used the OS install disc provided then smart cliented them to join to the network
  21. Has anyone managed to get RAV3 to work on an Ipad? I know it is a cisco product and I have looked at the cisco apps but couldn't see anything obvious
  22. It is picking up http://mail.lgflmail.org/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml which is not on my internal domain but is on the LGFL network. I have found that you get the message most if add a shared calendar or mailbox to outlook. I added these 2 reg keys and it seems to have stopped the messages appearing: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Outlook\AutoDiscover] "ExcludeSrvRecord"=dword:00000001 "ExcludeHttpsAutoDiscoverDomain"=dword:00000001
  23. LGFL 2.0 is the London Grid for Learning. Synetrix had the contract to be the ISP for the LGFL but that contract ended and virgin media took it over. So we have now moved over from synetrix to virgin media. We have an exchange 2003 server on site so i'm sure we are connecting to that. I assume that there is an exchange 2007 server on the LGFL/virgin media network that out clients are picking the autodiscover settings up from. So effectively we are on a network with 2 exchange servers, one is exchange 2003 and the other is exchange 2007. I want our outlook clients to stop picking up the autodiscover settings from the 2007 server and only use the 2003 server on site.
  24. We have an exchange 2003 server and the clients are using outlook 2010 We have recently moved over to LGFL 2.0, since then we keep getting an autodiscover pop up box asking to connect to https://mail.lgflmail.org/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml Is there a way I can get outlook to ignore this particular autodiscover request?
