Who has SNOW?!?!?

snow started last night here in newcastle, had about 2.5inches on the car to clear off this morning, very icy and lots of sludge/snow, its warming up now though and the snow is melting.

 

Until 3 o'clock mate, at which (according the the Met Office) we're in for heavy snow until 3am tomorrow.

Yeah - it was pretty nasty this morning but things have cleared up a bit and should get home without any major trouble. Wish the Met Office would make it's mind up whether it's gonna snow again tonight though!

We had some good sized flakes for a few hours this morning but it never settled.

 

Bright sunshine now. Wish it'd make its mind up!

In Cornwall some places in the Clay District got quite a bit early this morning but I think most places got nothing. My lazy neighbours decided it warranted a day off work - it really didn't.

 

Tonight might be a different story though.

Metcheck rekons it'll be sat afternoon before Kent sees any, although it keeps changing. It wasn't predicting any in the next 7 days as of yesterday.

BBC has postponed snow for my bit of Kent to Tuesday.

Well its hardly stopped snowing all weekend, around 6 inches since friday night. Getting it all off my car tommorow should be fun, never mind getting down my steep street in a RWD car!

 

Some nice icicles too! Biggest one on our conservatory being around 18inches long. Never seen it like this in november before.

 

Tinnie for comparison. Its great having a walk in freezer for your beer

Well its hardly stopped snowing all weekend, around 6 inches since friday night. Getting it all off my car tommorow should be fun, never mind getting down my steep street in a RWD car!

 

Some nice icicles too! Biggest one on our conservatory being around 18inches long. Never seen it like this in november before.

Drove back through it from the dress rehearsal for the School show, and one person has said to me already wonder if they left the Snow Machine on in the school thanks to all the snow!! Bless little children for that comment!

Yep about 3 - 4 inches, and more apparently is forcast... just watch out for monday night... thats when the north is going to get the most of it thats if you are in the north of england.

Got lots of it here to. We had to cancel our school openday yesterday as access was so bad. Now just trying to get everything back up from a powercut overnight. One of the joys of a rural area, lots of hills and overhead power cables.

Only near Middlesbrough / Stockton. Not out in the sticks or anything. Most of the teachers live out in the sticks in Durham so should be fun tomorrow - kids watching movies in the halls all day ill bet. Im crossing my fingers for a snow day but I very much doubt it.
