OK give me a few mins while I call up our team of solicitors to get cracking on this for you....... Why ask for evidence if even if I were to produce it you would dismiss it as anecdotal. You asked why someone thought RM was bad, I gave my opinion why. Now I need to swear to a jury of my peers and write a signed confession just for you to accept it. I'll have to go along with @Flatpackhamster here, this will go nowhere. I have personal experience of RM, certain employees there, their solicitors, their actions towards myself and the school I work at and the meetings between all mentioned and our solicitors. Personally I don't need any more proof to know I dislike the company, the way they act and the way they treat customers. If others like the company, superb, that is personal choice and I have nothing against that, but I will not be drawn into discussion as to why I feel they are bad
-
No, this isn't anecdotal, this is personal experience. I do not wish to post personal, sensitive documents on here nor talk about the matter further (though I assume you will take a moral high ground and criticise me for not doing so). You asked for evidence of RM being "bad." I gave a situation as to why I feel they are bad. If you now want evidence against all 2700 employees then you are moving the goalposts. You are saying that to complain about a company we must have evidence that every employee at said company is in the wrong.

How about them trying to blame their failings on an individual, nearly costing that individual their employment and a 3 year list of incompetencies and lies?

No no, just someone who despises this particular company and the way they operate

Well in the case of RM, spread the word, light the beacons, fluffle the pigeons, fire up the wireless and tell people about it

I believe you may have missed the point. People here aren't labelling entire groups. If you read the article, Banksy is the one who said that Christianity is about corruption, lies and abuse. So you are saying he is entitled to his opinion, but then saying we shouldn't label groups (which he has done). So which is it? He is either entitled to his own opinion or he shouldn't label entire groups of people
-
But the parts you read, do they say "you should kill another man" or does it say "X killed Y"? I doubt every word in the Bible is a commandment or way that you should lead your life. I am no Bible expert either having never read it, but I'd like to think that if I did, despite the fact it describes a murder or prostitution I wouldn't be inclined to go and murder just because it referenced it. If the Bible said "Thou shalt kill anyone you like," then fair enough
-
But doesn't that also come down to interpretation? Does the Qur'an specifically state that you should fly an aeroplane into a large structure? If (as quoted) the Bible says a man was murdered, does it mean you should go and murder someone? It is that literal interpretation that leads to trouble. People who want to will interpret the religious books in any way they see fit to affirm the views they have.

Think of it this way: If one member of Edugeek were found to be a convicted paedophile, would you be happy with someone saying "You are forgetting what Edugeek is really about, the power hungry paedophiles who go there" Remove religion, the "art", the "artist" and all the rest of it, if you were branded a paedophile just because you were in the same organisation as one, would you be happy? If not, then that is why this piece of art is being considered offensive

Wales Football Manager Gary Speed Has Died, Aged 42 [Apparently Suicide]
MK-2 replied to 6Foot2's topic in General Chat
I respectfully disagree. It may be how some people in that state feel, but to say that none of them are selfish is just as inaccurate. I was concentrating more on the fact of where, then why anyway. For someone to say they love their kids then to put their kids in a situation where they may find their parents lifeless body hanging from the ceiling is a bit off (I'm not talking specifically about this case, just in general). But I think I'll have to agree with DT2 here for this thread, I'm a staying out after this post as I know where it will lead -
I think you missed off [/smug]
