IE9 - with the crashing and the hanging and the guh-HOYVEE...

 

And for its inability to render pages like a normal browser.

 

Currently it doesn't display certain videos through our proxy..... IE8 does, IE7 does, IE9? Na... got to wait 2 mins for a strange timeout before it renders...

Not so much software but...printer deployment on a Server 2008 R2 network / Windows 7 clients

 

Randomly not mapping, randomly disappearing, randomly not setting as default printer

 

In fact of all 'moans' received this year printing is above the number 1!

used to be a program Called Aspex Draw had a hideous MSI package which used to set all the other MSI installed software to reinstall or set the aspex installer off...

Has to be something else going on there.

I have two server 2008R2/ mostly Windows 7 networks with printers (2 in one school, 5 in the other) and I don't have any problems with printers. Not to derail the thread but how are you doing it?

+1 for IE9 what is the point in having the tabs next to the address bar... you open 3 tabs and then the tabs get smaller so you cant see what you have open!

Right click... show tabs on new row.

 

 

Arrow. Worst. "Software. Ever. It uses a DX7 DLL FFS!

today Adobe CS6 is top of the list how can a professional product not cope with being installed in a network environment!!

Adobes answer is to deregister and re-reg the product, having a laugh

2Simple software! Aggravates the s**t out of me! And anything that MUST use a mapped drive. Dont they understand that children put things there they shouldnt!

Somehow, our MSIs manages to bork our flash so badly the Adobe site registers it as Flash v2[something].

Um you realise you can get flash pre packed in an msi from adobe right? Just request distribution rights and then give you an msi

I know. This is what we do.

 

 

But, the 2simple package somehow BREAKS the flash that is installed. So I have to spend unnecessary time uninstalling and reinstalling it.

You don't need to wait for 2simple, flash in its pretty MSIs break themselves through upgrades too, 10 - 11 caused me to learn powershell in order to clean up the mess it made.
