Hello all. Since we had a power outage in the academy, we have been unable to print Cheques from FMS. I have tried the usual Default printer trick, changing different drivers (PCL5 etc). I have also tried printing to PDF Reinstalled FMS etc. I CAN print using Accounts Payable parameters/Cheque Layout test print to both PDF and the Network printer. I have followed the usual steps here. FMS Print Problems — OSMIS Education Any ideas?

We use Inventry and we don't think much of the support or the system.

Tried the command prompt and didnt seem to do anything for me...

Do we wait after wusa /uninstall command? Will it give us a confirmation to see if it worked? Do I need to type in End as well?

Yeah standard Windows remote desktop. I think we disabled it. PSexec? We have been using Impero to run command prompt.

I tried a batch file with this C:\Windows\System32\wusa.exe /uninstall /kb:KB3097877 /quiet /norestart /log Should I try something else? I can run a command line via Impero.

I am unable to remote into any of the PC's with this issue.

Unfortunately removing it doesn't seem to have done anything.

Looks like Microsoft removed the update from the Patch tuesday bulletin.

Rumour on Technet says that it appears to be KB3097877. Trying to see what happens when I uninstall through GPO batch file.

Unfortunately our imaging system is kaputt, looking at uninstalling the updates via Shutdown Batch file and removing biometric login. No system restore by default, I also have 100 laptops encrypted which this could be affecting....

Hello all. After a bunch of Windows updates last night we are no able to log in a significant amount of computers, this also happens in safe mode where upon pressing control alt delete for login it turns to a blank screen with just a mouse cursor. Reading up on google, someone said it was a DCOM setting in Group policy, but they didn't say exactly what, any ideas?! Cheers!

Hello all. I am trying to create a Path rule to unrestricted for students so they can access the default template folder which is in their user profiles. I used this C:\Users\%userprofile%\AppData\local\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2013 - English\R19.0\enu\Template And this C:\Users\%username%\AppData\local\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2013 - English\R19.0\enu\Template Any ideas as to why this is not working? Still blocked by group policy.

This is set as default. I did check it again and it was already at max version 99.

Hello all. I have begun a project to upgrade our schools IE from 9 til 11. I am running Server 2012, applied the ADML/ADM/ADMX templates and created a policy to redirect traffic to our Bloxx proxy server. I log onto the machine with the updated policies with IE 11 on it and brings up the message "Connection to Gateway failed, Exception text: no connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it -insert random web address-. Any ideas? IE 9 still works fine. Chrome and Firefox work fine with their policies, just IE 11 refuses. This only happens on student accounts. Should I remove the previous Internet Explorer Maintenance settings for IE 9? I am surprised they would effect IE 11. Cheers!

Hello all. I just got an email from Core ECS saying that it's education arm is being shut down and no support will be given after the 31st of July. Talmos and ALP is a Core ECS product correct? So we have to somehow get a new VLE working by September??? (I don't know much about our VLE) Is there anywhere else we could get support? Cheers.

We do intend to use Smartbpard software. We have a site license. I didn't think there was a restriction on using it on non smart hardware. Can you link me with your info source?

Hello all. My school are looking into a new interactive projection solution, we have very old Smartboards and we want to move to 80" televisions, preferably ones that will work with Smartboard software. However I am very clueless into what is out there with regards to education, support, pricing and being able to demonstrate to teachers before purchase. Anyone got any recommendations? (We are NOT looking for a middle man supplier, we want to go direct.) Cheers!
