6Foot2 Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 I have just seen the Countryfile forecast for the week ahead: Light flurries all week with the potential for significant accumulations on Friday in my part of the world. Adverse weather lasting into the following week. No warnings issued by the Met Office as yet. Here we go again?

6Foot2 Posted February 8, 2010 Author Posted February 8, 2010 Snowing here ATM but I doubt that it will amount to much.
leco Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Whilst it's not snowing here just now, the vehicles going past on the main road are covered in it But only from one direction - north. Sky looks a bit full of something though difficult to tell as it's not really light yet.
sippo Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Snowing/Sleeting here but nothing major. Hope it settles from Wednesday. Half-term next week, so would be nice to have an extra few days off before that!
CAM Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Getting a bit wintry here in Sutton/Croydon. It's not settling but a fair bit of snow is falling and has been since the morning.
glennda Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 its starting here in sussex, but its not cold enough to settle
sonofsanta Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Had snow here in Grantham most the morning, apparently it's been around Skegness as well... none of it has settled though, despite growing into respectable sized flakes a couple of hours ago (though it's since shrunk again) the ground is just too damp. Suits me as I have 40 miles to drive home!

6Foot2 Posted February 16, 2010 Author Posted February 16, 2010 We had more flurries last night but it all came to nothing. No matter how bad it gets it is worth remembering that it is worse for someone somewhere else: http://lh3.ggpht.com/_hVOW2U7K4-M/SVSYCVMNoDI/AAAAAAAAwPQ/flNj_Sj1pCA/s640/8675b2d3850c.jpg http://lh6.ggpht.com/abramsv/SFIYWMpfuMI/AAAAAAAAUJw/M25gwQhCkO8/s640/002_foto.jpg http://lh4.ggpht.com/_hVOW2U7K4-M/S3kO_ABqjXI/AAAAAAABP68/nAjwcb0XVWQ/s640/3w54ywe54tyr.jpg Link: More Lots Of Snow Pictures
