Who works full time?

Hello,

 

2 Technicians both full time, NO network manager!

 

35 Days Hols

 

600 computers, 1200 pupils, 100+ staff.

there is me as 'nm' get paid senior tech as of sept 09 - im full time

 

not been told how many hours my working week is or holiday...waiting to hear back

 

the 1 other tech is term time only and at primaries 1.5 days a week

 

i have argued to point to the head who has since approved the other lad can work any holiday day/week but wont yet set him on full time...he is looking for other jobs! i cant afford to loose him!!! grrr lol

Here we have NM, Senior Tech, Tech and AV Tech.

 

We all work full time with varying holidays due to term of service, but if we didn't work full time no imaging would take place as we wouldn't be able to fit it in and just other general maintenance such as server reboots and other down time.

I'm full time 20 days hol (+ bank holidays) , increases to 25 after 5 years

 

It's just me (NM) and one part-time technician (3 days a week term-time)

 

850 pupils

300+ desktops & laptops

30 whiteboards & projectors

 

If I wasn't full-time a lot of work wouldn't get done. - balancing a lot of plates.

35 hours a week term time only + 1 week. Just me at the moment, but should be techy for about 2 days a week term time only as well. 350 ish pcs, 150 ish laptops, 6 servers, loads of projectors, whiteboards. Paid to install new pcs in the summer.

me and my tech full time all year round We use the holidays to strip rooms apart, do new installations, reimaing rooms, network changes, re-cabling, installing new systems etc. Its never quiet or boring there is always something to be done.

I'm on my own with 130 PC's and 3 Servers (+3 Virtual).

 

I use the holidays to reimage the whole network, for upgrading servers, cabling and development/research (This year we will be moving the network to Win 7/2008 R2).

We have 3 staff - 1 NM (20hours/week), 2 techs (1x20 hours, 1x25 hours). 1100 pupils, 600 PC's, 60 whiteboards. Term time only.

 

Quite a struggle!

Full Time - 38 hours a week. 27 Days Holiday...

I work full time 37 hours a week, 8:00 till 4:00, think i get 26days holiday, I don't take work home with me, if something doesn't get done in work time it gets done the next day.

We tend to run round like headless chickens alot of the time, theres always someone that needs our help.

 

I must say thats quite impressive!

Can belive it when you say you must all be running around like headless chickens!

I'm on Term Time + 2 weeks. 37.5hrs per week. Would like to do longer and get more done during the school breaks but the school aren't up for paying more than they currently do.

should have made a poll methinks...

 

in any event only our NM works full time, me & the other 2 techs are term time.

 

There is some overtime I'm obliged to do in the summer, and I don't mind so much although I preferred it when I got actual money, now its just extra time in hand. This summer i was ill at the start of the hols and discovered I could do most of it from home on the remote connection. yay!

 

1800 pupils, 200 staff, 800 computers.
