I must use the wrong suppliers - only thing I have so far is a calendar for next year, where are my £70 boxes of chocolates!

dezt Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 So far i've got 9 cards, 3 bottles of larger - 500ml, 4 bottles of larger - 330ml, bottle of wine, bottle of christmas ale with a pint glass and a small christmas tree. Reason behind the christmas tree was the ex split up with me, so i didn't feel like getting a tree this year, but one of our admin girls bought one and gave it to me, it's about the size of a terrastation, maybe a bit bigger, and it's real so i can plant it after christmas. Crikey i'm sad, measuring things compared to a terrastation.....

(and that was from our cleaner) 3 people have tried to give me bottles of stuff (wine etc...) you'd thin they'd know me well enough after 3 years to realise I don't drink! What is the fascination in giving people booze??? Laziness, can't be bothered to think of anything original?????

We are exchanging Secret Santa gifts during break time though, so here's hoping for something good. Although, i'm more likely to get a Mug with a supposedly funny slogan on it..

In general presents for people you dont know well is always booze or chocolates - everyone normally likes 1 of the 2! You should have taken the wine anyway - you could give them out as your own lazy presents
