Ex-MGSTech Posted February 8, 2023 Posted February 8, 2023 (edited) Just looing at options for replicating the excellent training we used to get through the now defunct NEOS IT Training. If we ran a course online and bring in an external trainer would anyone be interested in the following? InTune Fundamentals Duration: 2 Days Who should attend: This workshop is designed to give delegates an understanding of the fundamental principles of managing user and device environments using Endpoint Manager (InTune) through a use of practical demonstrations, chalk and talk, and Q&A. The workshops focus is primarily on Windows devices, but Mobile OS’s, Chrome OS and Linux form part of the discussion and demo phases. Pre-requisites: Delegates should have a good working knowledge of the Microsoft Windows environment as can be gained from our Windows Desktop Support, Windows Server Administrator, and Active Directory and Group Policy courses. Content Azure AD Overview Azure AD Join types InTune Enrolment options Basics of InTune Device Management Configuration Profiles Compliance Policies Security Policies Endpoint Protection Device Provisioning options AutoPilot overview Cost per delegate to be confirmed if sufficient interest is generated. XiJ Posted February 9, 2023 Posted February 9, 2023 Playing with this now. Although I’d like some MacOS content. Interested.
Kitkatninja Posted February 9, 2023 Posted February 9, 2023 Depends on costs and when it would be, but yes, this has peaked my interest
timbo343 Posted February 9, 2023 Posted February 9, 2023 Would be interested in this depending on cost. If it was free - even better!

StevieM Posted February 10, 2023 Posted February 10, 2023 Definitely! It was one I was planning to do with them, but... well... other stuff happened.
NK2002 Posted February 10, 2023 Posted February 10, 2023 Sounds good. It'll be nice to make sure I'm doing it right.
Ex-MGSTech Posted February 10, 2023 Author Posted February 10, 2023 Definitely! It was one I was planning to do with them, but... well... other stuff happened. Just so you are aware, at this stage it is not a full on replacement for the previous 5 day course from NEOS Realistically you would normally be looking at around a 60% take-up from those who express an interest.... if we can get the numbers wishing to attend up to around 20 actually attending, you could be looking at sub £100 per candidate for both days... The idea here is to all work together to gain the economies of scale we often loose as individual schools! Steve 2

MYK-IT Posted February 10, 2023 Posted February 10, 2023 @MGSTech Would be interested, as although already using Intune, at that indicative cost I may actually be able to go on a course...

TechMonkey Posted February 15, 2023 Posted February 15, 2023 Yes we would. Would the cost be per location or per person? Just thinking could send the 2 techs on it, but if they sat in the same room they could work it together.
kennysarmy Posted February 15, 2023 Posted February 15, 2023 Put me down as interested but depends a lot on the dates. Cheers J
