Pfi school here so cant put a nail in the wall wiithout filling in 6 forms and selling your soul to the devil.

I get the site team to install the brackets (if it falls off they are responsible)

Always use good quality bolts and plugs as many as the bracket will accept.

Dont use the garbage sent with the units your asking for trouble.

I always cable tie the bracket and tv mount just in case.

Did they get into the trunking? Or still miss, lol

They re-drilled from inside the room the second time around and the job was complete.

We manage to salvage the IQ module that the screen itself had to be scrapped. We ended up having to pursue an insurance claim with the contractor.

I've recently put a load of 60kg 86" up... The fixings I put in for that were industrial chem fixings as the blockwork is lightweight and would have cracked with rawlbolts. We tested each fixing with a simulation of the whole weight of the screen for 30 minutes.

No carnage here. :)

I can fulfil your need for carnage...

A contractor working the other side of the wall was trying to drill through the wall and into the trunking below the interactive TV.

I suggested taking the trunking cover off and drilling from the classroom out.

I left the contractor to it and was sheepishly called about an hour later to come to the room because the TV “exploded by itself”.

Not a good day that one!

Is the floor a different level on the other side of the wall? Can't understand how they got that so wrong (not that it would have been better if they drilled into the bottom of the screen instead of the middle).

have install well over 1000 of the activ panels, as a lad said to me there is level and then real world level, sometimes you have to offset them as the whole room is slightly off level, but yeah never ever use them built in levels on any mount , still don't know how a bubble can lie😄😄
