Loads more here last night, our extensive tracks have all filled in! Drifts up to a few feet in places, but we're at 1100ft so we're worse hit than the nearby towns.

No snow down on the south coast - I miss it (from living in Dorset) but lets face it - it's only fun for about a day unless your're snowed off work and you can have a snow day in the pub, then it's just a pain after that

Got to take our Cub Pack to a carol service on the village green tonight, not looking forward to the cold.

Hopefully the mulled wine (only imbibed after the Cubs are out of my care), soup, warm mince pies and sausage rolls will keep me warm.

And back to work tomorrow (if I can get off the drive in the morning because of the ice). Meant to drop to -7 tonight.

Same here. I expect my normal 20 minute drive (on average) to take considerably longer to complete.

No snow here in Northern Lincolnshire since 30th November. Can stay that way for me, although bitterly cold out today, no frost (well not when I went out) roads are dry so if it did want to snow overnight it would settle now.

@witch - did your daughter get on the flight?

No. Not that one. Or the next one. Currently queuing for a flight tomorrow at 3.40 but they dont know if they will get on to it

In Watford frost on top of snow that has no signs of thawing in -3 degrees. Very slippery under foot and a bit of black ice on roads :-( . For those of you battling Public transport I really feel for you.

Could of easily stayed at home under the duvet today.

School is gradually waking up. So far we have 6 cars on site (rear staff car park only)

I nearly fell walking around the school to the front door this morning. It is VERY slippery. Be careful!
