For the moment I have put this on hold.

 

I do have plans to release a stand alone version but also and intergrated on for the helpdesk but we have alot of work on at the momnet and need to deal with those first.

Webman love your site, quick question about it what do you host on your intranet as a technical department? I am looking to ravamp ours and am trying to decide on what to publish about the network etc and what we do. Also how does the sims access work on your website? I would be interested to know how it's integrated.

You may need to alter the hta coding slightly as the jpg files are not included unless someone can modify it and post it back with some jpg files ?

 

I altered it and basically added some text instead of the jpegs to say online, offline and error or something to that effect.

 

It should create a text file called hostslist.txt if not then just create a text file called hostslist.txt with the hostnames or ip addresses on each line that you want to monitor.

 

Find attached the modified one where I have gotten red, green and yellow or error or something ( all in the coding )

 

If anyone can modify this so it has a text field where you can enter in the amount of seconds you want the refresh rate to be so that it uses that instead of a fixed value in the coding , currently I think its set to 10000 which is 10 seconds ( 10,000 milli seconds )

Hi ICTNUT, I know MLSM is on hold but maybe for the next version you could add this idea.

 

When you hover over an device it would bring some basic details about it e.g. IP address, just helps when you find a device listed as down to quickly get some details.
