Oaktech Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Cloud is the future. /sarcasm How is Azure AD holding up anyone?
Steve21 Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 To be fair, they're checking it from the US... Where it works. That's on my admin dashboard from EU though Steve
DJ-1701 Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Cloud is the future. /sarcasm You would have thought given the British weather it would be more accessable here...
X-13 Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 That's on my admin dashboard from EU though Steve I bet they're still checking it from the US though.
Steve21 Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 I bet they're still checking it from the US though. Haha probably true bloody yanks! Steve

DJ-1701 Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 You would have thought given the British weather it would be more accessable here... @Boredguy just threw something at me for this .
gshaw Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 How is Azure AD holding up anyone? We've been getting odd errors from DirSync in the last day or two that some people reckon are Azure AD related: https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/2050fdd2-2392-4a93-aeb2-ac0c1120d314/aadconnect-identity-synchronization-error-report?forum=windowsazuremanagement
X-13 Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 @Boredguy just threw something at me for this . Good work, @Boredguy. Now... Nick his jelly babies and pull his scarf so it's ever so slightly uncomfortable. 1
MkII Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Apparently there's an issue with login.Microsoft.com for most of Europe (I have an email from RM stating as such) The fact it's affecting so many users, and so many O365 domains, I wonder if it's a routing problem or a DDOS attack of some sort? Probably a backlash from the Syria vote last night Office 365 service health status "There are currently no known issues preventing you from signing in to your Office 365 service health dashboard." <-- that's reassuring then!
Oaktech Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 @Boredguy just threw something at me for this . Wonder why! 2

Only for a few users though
Boredguy Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Good work, @Boredguy. Now... Nick his jelly babies and pull his scarf so it's ever so slightly uncomfortable. @X-13, he's already eaten all the Jelly Babies, and I made him take the scarf off this morning when we got into the office... was tempted to send him out with some really long length of fibre so that our connection goes via the US so the users can get into webmail again... 2
jamin100 Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 el reg have caught on now Microsoft Office 365, Azure portals offline for many users in Europe • The Register
Markopolo Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 el reg have caught on now Microsoft Office 365, Azure portals offline for many users in Europe • The Register I'll just leave this here: One Microsoft Gold partner told us, "the irony is you can't even log a support ticket."But he quipped that the length of time of the outage - service seems to have been interrupted for a couple of hours - was "ntohing". "[in past outages we] haven’t been able to access the partner portal resources, downloads and keys for over a month, since our renewal. They say they are working on it. Meanwhile all our computers sport an activation message in Windows 10 and Office 2016 looks great in front of customers."
Steve21 Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Current status Normal service Last refreshed: 10:52 AM, December 3, 2015 Even when you get into it, it still thinks it's fine Come on MS sort your shizzle! Steve

Michael Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 I love how it's a partial service interruption - only the whole of Europe Maybe they're restoring Azure Active Directory as we speak Would it be an authoritative or non-authoritative restoration?
Marshall_IT Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 I'm currently trying to use a VPN to make my iPad appear as thought it's in the US so i can log in and check this but all the blocks i've putting on my firewall are blocking it...
truebluesteve Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Strangely yes we have issues, and our network connection is maxing out at the same time..... We seemed to have the same problem with Internet access being thrashed - restarting the Smoothwall proxy sorted it though.
gshaw Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 We seemed to have the same problem with Internet access being thrashed - restarting the Smoothwall proxy sorted it though. Sophos seems to be doing that for us pretty well by itself at the moment
