MrwITch and I love to do things rather than clutter up the house with more stuff. To date we have done brewery tours, flyboarding, lorry driving, photography, gliding, formula ford racing, kitebuggying and afternoon teas! I'm buying the old man a Brewery tour voucher, for the Wychwood brewery (they make hobgoblin, amongst other things) for xmas

I think her and Ian would enjoy something like that I never think about days out/etc when it comes to presents, I always get stuck thinking of physical things. eyetea Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 My list this year: OH: Coat (of her choosing!), standard stocking gifts consisting of choccy, shower/bath stuff, one of those microwaveable plush toys + some grown up colouring books (Sherlock/Harry Potter) - any other small odd bits and bobs I see that I think she'll like get thrown in too! Brother: Super lightweight KFS set for lightweight hiking, something else I dunno of yet! Dad: Going in with brother to get him an impact driver - he's usually mega hard to buy for so we jump when he says he wants/needs something! Mum: Replacement wicker laundry basket as she really liked her old one that broke! Going to put some smellies etc in it too mind! I've asked Father Christmas for some power tools this year... If you want an awesome event based present and around this part of the country (recommend it personally!)... a murder mystery evening... with a 3 course meal... on a steam train!

Lorry Driving?! that doesn't strike me as the most romantic suggestion in this world for a Christmas gift surely its up there with the new hoover or iron gift in the "thanks" list? As for me I have no idea what to get my folks as ever will see if my mum drops any hints or see's anything nice on her visit to see me, sister is sorted got her a limited edition figure which will be nice in her display thingy-ma-bob. Gifts for me I'm good and don't need owt so happy to just have a roast dinner I don't have to cook or pay myself for. Edited November 10, 2015 by john

He has always wanted to drive a Routemaster and loved it! Another suggestion is a voucher for afternoon tea at a local hotel. It's a good excuse to dress up and indulge
