Domo Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 I *may* have caved in yesterday and bought Kingdom Come: Deliverance... I've been eyeing it since just before release. Green Man Gaming decided to give me a 20% off voucher for it... I'd been watching Sips play it on YouTube and decided that, despite it being quite buggy and unpolished, it looked like a lot of fun. I played it most of yesterday and I'm really enjoying it! I haven't run into any major bugs yet, either. I want this game so bad, it's a bit expensive for me at the moment though. Trying my best to not spoil things in it, but i did watch most of the first bit of it on youtube. I've been playing a game that i didn't even know i owned this last week, Life is Feudal: MMO. I bought Life is feudal years ago when it first came out on early access, played it a bit and forgot about it. Some of my friends started playing the MMO version and went to buy it but steam said i already owned it. Turns out you get it for free if you bought Life is feudal before. Anyway, as far as i can remember it seems to be the same game except this time with a huge map and dedicated servers with thousands of people on them. Very slow game, but it's enjoyable when you start making guilds/alliances with other people.

Much harder in some aspects, definitely better though. I created my own species and went with a pretty close match to Babylon 5's Minbari. Isolationist, caste-system, militaristic spiritualists with a secret ruling council. Five hours in and I'm having to strategically plot my expansion to head off any possible future incursions. Delightful and definitely worth the £15 3

Especially the new war system, where you can loose entire sections of your empire in a few battles due to war exhaustion. However I built a Federation Builder Empire, spawned next to a Military Isolationist Fallen Empire. When they eventually turned their sights on me they were funneled through a pulsar system that stripped away their shields, and watched as their fleets were turned into mince meat by my defense platforms armed to the teeth with plasma accelerators >: ) muahahaha. Easily one of my favorite moments of playing Stellaris. In short totally agree, its a cracking expansion to the game. 1

Easily one of my favorite moments of playing Stellaris. And the MASSIVE technology boost you got from reverse-engineering all those wrecked ships can't have hurt either. I remember annoying one of those kind of empires during the early stages of a game. They invaded. Wiped out most of my fleets, conquered my homeworld and assassinated the president during the signing of a peace treaty. Rather than rage quit and revert to an earlier save, I persevered. They would attack every ten years or so, to keep my numbers down and remind us that they were superior I hid fleets outside my territory and had them perform daring - often suicidal - raids into enemy territory whilst their fleets were bombarding my worlds. The scientific advances I stole from the debris of their broken mining installations and research stations accumulated over time. And, over 100 years since their first incursion, I had finally advanced my technology and my fleet to a state where I could match tem toe to toe. Losses on both sides were enormous, but I was able to rebuild faster and the day I led a war of liberation against their capitol system and won was my favourite moment so far. I vassalized the new nation that arose and integrated them shortly after. It was so very satisfying and left me plenty strong enough to stand unaided against the unbidden when they came a few years later 1

I can get 1-70 easily in a day, unless i'm a healer... then it's 1-70 in about 3 years id get any leveling done now, it sounds like its gonna be a chore come the next expansion! as theyre making every zone scale to your level and nerfing heirlooms they really really want people to pay for level boosts apparently

Glad they are slowing the leveling down tbh as i love leveling and it goes too fast!

I managed to complete a very fun quest just before I had to stop for the night, and it's those moments in these games I love. Just got to work on getting better at the melee combat now...
sted Posted February 27, 2018 Posted February 27, 2018 another thing done in xenoblade 2 this time i managed to beat the 50'000 score on tiger tiger to unlock one of the blades affinity trees (and as soon as i did it unlocked the next one and i completed her skill tree finally. this mini game sucks you need to score 50'000 but the max score is ~12k so you need to get every crystal and chest and not take damage to get all the bonuses argh at least its doable on the easy mode so enemies are a bit less annoying

All My Stats are at lvl 4, except kindness, which seems to have been stuck on 3 for AAAAAAGEEEES It's like that - read lots, watch dvds, play games and take on the big bang burger challenge to up your social stats. I managed all at 5 before completing my first run through. I think my confidant levels suffered a bit though as I was mostly 8-10 with the occasional 4-5. That's what the second run is for though, as you carry your social stats over.

Casino is the one you start at at the very beginning. (which isn't the beginning, but yeah)
