I have no idea what to do with it... my leaving gift It was cool for about 5 mins then it went back in the box and sat there. then I found out how much it was! :SHOCK: 100 quid! - there is no way i got 100 quids worth of fun from it! Obv P45 don't count (or nothing!)

A crate of beer from one school, and from the other a paperweight, a canvas print of the twin suns rising over Tatooine and a Sith Lord house coat. So, overall, I don't think those have been too bad!!

On the couple of occasions when people felt they really had to get me something, a bunch of flowers was produced just before I left at the end of the day. I much prefer to go quietly. 1

I've only ever been here.... apart from a part time job at matalan, kind of left there under the radar as it was nr xmas and v short notice period.

arwen Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 I've receive a very nice Fossil watch, perfume, chocolate and some flowers when I left my apprenticeship post after 3 years. When I left my last place after 4.5 years I said I did not want anything. I just wanted to go quietly. They still got me flowers, sweeties (since they knew I prefer them to chocolates) and a £100 check! Schools.... they never listen ;-) Sphero looks cool, but I have no idea what I Would use it for either!

The stand was poor and they didn't have any proper literature or anything!! My self-employed school has one and uses it as an introduction to coding.

I thought that this would be really cool for some of our primary schools to start some programming depending on what level of programming skills was required, but all they had was a business card I believe.

Yeah I was totally disappointed. I know they have a bunch of apps on the AppStore, each does a different thing. My school rate it. Good for the younger kids. 1
