I'll definatly give it a go then. whats a good price?

my gym has them for ~£20 p/h if i book 10 half hour sessions

Not done PT route myself but looking into it.

My gym is £15 per 30 minutes and £30 per hour.

Not sure on prices of block bookings.

Well went to the gym last night with a work colleague and we did legs... omg so hard to walk today o.O

Started with squats, then leg press, leg extensions, hamstring curls, deadlifts and calf raises.

Was pleasantly surprised at the weights I could still do.

Haha, i love that feeling. I did sumo deadlift yesterday, so i feel your pain! Getting ready for my next fight after Christmas so that's a major goal i'm working towards.

Yeah I do a 'total body workout' class on mondays and the cardio bit makes me feel horrible. Absolutely hate it, but always feel great when it's finished!

Monday seems to be pain day then - that's when I do circuits currently too. Feels great afterwards, but no so good during x burpees and losing the ability to walk properly.

Pushed up the swimming - instead of swimming 1k we decided to swim for an hour. I was 4 lengths away from 2k so pushed for 4 more! Got out the pool and had jelly legs!

Bringing this back from the grave.

Off work Wednesday, there was a feature on BBC Breakfast about a group that organsises football for people that are overweight. There's one local to me and they also have dieticians etc there. Seriously thinking about going.

A friend of mine did that and lost 2 stone in something like 6 months, playing for a team in bristol.

I was doing really well with my workout for the bristol 10k till i pulled a muscle the week beforhand and am still being advised not to run >.>

So bored, and so done with the gym. I need to find a sport i can play that doesn't require skill ^^

I know it's an old thread, but my wife loves beachbody. She can do it at home before work. Must admit, I did a couple workouts and they are fun. I'm looking at getting fitter. Doing another Tough Mudder this year :)

It seems to do everything that Beachbody does. I like the couple who run it - Kellie is obviously super-fit but even she gets out of breath doing the HIIT stuff which makes me feel better :)

Kept on it over Christmas - gym was mostly open, some track sessions but the real indicator will be circuits again on Monday. That's always a killer after time off!

Just entered the big indoor championships at the end of the month, in 400m and HJ. Pretty sure I'll get destroyed by whippersnappers, but still looking forward to it.

I started back at the gym about a six weeks before Christmas and I think this as helped prevent most of the Christmas weight gain.

I am doing a cardio/weights routine and at my first review I had been going twice a week and had lost 1/2 cm off my left bicep, 2cm off my right, 2cm off each thigh, millimetres off my waist and 4cm off my tummy.

Since the start of the Christmas holiday I have been going every other day, I intend to keep it up and I am starting to see real gains now.

This year its actually working for me to keep fit, recording everything I do in My Fitness Pal along with food.

I seem to be more motivated to lose weight. Might be because im 30 in July and dont want to be obese!
