I had in mind that this thread should probably be about pushbikes, but feel free to chime in with motorbikes or horses if you feel left out.

Anything else you ride, you should probably keep to yourself! :)

I'm currently riding a 2011 Felt QX85

QX85_M_2011_INT_SMALL.jpg

My modifications are bar ends, a new more comfortable saddle, toe clips and a change from 700c35 tyres to 30.

I'm also riding a heavilly customised 2006 GT that I bought ready done to go cycling with my missus because the Felt does bad things to me when ridden off road.

Ride a Vitus Vee for my 20 minute commute, does the job wonderfully. Need to get some kind of balaclava for winter though, this morning was absolutely freezing.

I've been going with a buff over my chin and then pulled up over my head. I might look like an idiot, but i'm a warm idiot!

I ride a specialized cross-trail hybrid - bought waaaay back in 2010. I've put mudguards, a rear rack, pump, bottle, lights and a trip computer on it. I'm having a winter sabatical - 24 miles a day, both ways in the dark is too much for me. I seem to be having a sabbatical from my Yamaha MT03 too, which is currently sitting in sad corner of the workshop, SORN. I'm still tempted by an electric bike.

Just got this bad boy after getting my old CDF bike stolen form outside work . keep this one close now.IMG_20141209_124157587.jpg

Added a rack and switched the 700c 35`s cross tyres for schwalbe marathon 32 for the roads . 2nd for a buff for the cold mornings .

My back end did skid out wildly this morning on some ice as the disc brakes are starting to bite.

I've got two steeds. A cheap Elswick road bike I got out of a catalogue when old faithful chewed up her gears, and a newly repaired old faithful:

A 2009 Felt QX75. The seat has been changed to a uber-comfortable Brooks classic, handlebars switched out for butterfly bars, tires swapped for Shwalbe Marathon Plus's. Recently got new chain, gears and peddles.

Man I really need to get back into cycling. Set me self up with some charity/sportive rides.

Now there's an idea...

I don't know how Felt get most things so right, and their saddles so very, very wrong! I've got a £7.99-from-tkmaxx Oxford on mine now because the stock one left bruises on the inside of my thighs - much to the amusement of my missus!

My office chair too. Getting a bit worn now as it's over 5 years old :)

As regards a bike, I'm currently riding this:

Only for commuting and with the kids though. My off-roading days are long gone :(

I originally got a Claud Butler from a local bike shop. It was stolen the very same day! The insurance paid out in vouchers for Evans Cycles so I had to travel into London to choose a bike from them. I did a lot of research before hand. The Felt pretty much ticked every box I had at the time. Cantilever breaks, extra spokes, double rim wheels, basically built for abuse. And it's taken some.

The tires pretty much needed changing out day one for the Schwalbes. A lot narrower, a lot slicker, and puncture protection. As for the seat, it took me some time to change it but when I did - wow! I'd never ride a bike without a Brooks saddle any more. Cost about £60 but saved my rear on many a long ride.

One day I'll pony up for a new bike, when I do Felt will be my first choice. Can't believe the bike is now over 5 years old and is still as solid as when I first bought it.

Mine suddenly decides to start going down so I end up nearly sitting on the floor.

I'm on a 13 year old Kona Hoo-Ha for my commute/pub. I've barely done anything to it since I bought it. New cassette, chain, and one shifter. New front wheel.

For weekends I ride a late 80s Raleigh Ritmo which is probably too small for me but gets me out into the barren flatlands round these parts.

This be my ride.....

Not ridden much since May this year as I snapped my Achilles Tendon (yes, it hurts), and I'm still recovering and building up strength again to get back on it in Spring.

I'm on a 2014 Marin Argenta Comp, just need to motivate myself to get out in the cold weather, gutted I didn't buy more clothing from Aldi when they had it on.
