There were quite a few scenes that were basically carbon copies of the original trilogy, the purpose of which was to tweak the old nostalgia muscle and trick us into believing things were back on track. On the whole, though, I found myself a little underwhelmed. I think I'll need to watch it a few more times, preferably when I've not have several days of sleep deprivation beforehand. That said, I'm still glad I went.

I'm not an immersive cinema goer, nor an extensive one, but I found myself muttering "yes" under my breath several times, along with an almost audible "no" on a couple of occasions too. I got swept along with the hype / familiarity / nostalgia and enjoyed it.
