York Minster is a pain to photograph as its always so busy when I go. Also I haven't got the right lens for the DSLR to get a nice shot, although this Friday afternoon we are running some steam vehicles up there for tea time so will see what I can get then.

Be nice to see what you show.:)

A couple from the red Kite Feeding in Wales on Saturday, having looked through the rest I now want to go back and try to improve my pics.

They're amazing birds, we have loads of them here and I could spend ages watching them - I don't think I've ever been outside here and not either seen or heard at least one. This photo was taken across our sports field one lunchtime - there are over 20 red kites in this image!

I've got some nice video clips of them too.

I'd like to get better pictures of them, but the best photo opportunities are when the students are here (the kites come down to litter-pick at break and lunchtime) and I feel a bit odd pointing a long-lens camera at them.

Was at @Ric_ wedding in the US over the weekend and there were a lot of Monarch butterflies around.

Being the spotter I am, I just had to try and get some good pics as I'd never seen one 'in the wild' before :)

I was going to say that's a lovely looking lens, @BillyAB, then remembered Flickr would tell me if I clicked through--and good grief, that is a lovely lens! Some lovely bokeh on that top shot. Bit rich for my blood, though!
