bald_pig Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 A couple of phone shots from the ashdown forest this weekendL
arwen Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 A couple from a little woodland walk yesterday. I also rather like the spider one I took, but I always seem to get squeals of complaints for some reason when I post them... :-p 1
MrMat Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 New lens excitement time!! Purchased myself a nice shiny Zeiss 55mm f1.8 for my Sony. It's pretty stupidly priced for a standard prime at only f1.8 but it is lovely. Widely regarded as one of the very best 50mm autofocus lenses ever made. I got it used so didn't pay full wack for it. Took it out on Wednesday for a quick test shoot with mate, will get out with it properly over the weekend Anywho, so more photos from me. Did a shoot with a friend's little lad (not with the Zeiss, with the 70-200): The little dude known as Laurence! by Alex Matravers, on Flickr The little dude known as Laurence! by Alex Matravers, on Flickr And these were from my little test shoot with the Zeiss: Audi A3 by Alex Matravers, on Flickr Audi A3 by Alex Matravers, on Flickr

arwen Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Yay more 'shrooms! I am enjoying taking photos of them. A lot seem to be in lovely little patches of light on the forest floor.
alan-d Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Yep - lots about in this warm wet weather too. Finding some that have not been nibbled at is the hard part :-)

smurfomatic Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 Very proud of my touch rugby team's season. Playing in our first DTS (third tier of national competition) we reached Finals Day yesterday and put in some strong performances, played seven and won four. Not bad for a side that was, until last season, training on a park and sometimes only getting five people turning up for training! Special congratulations to Hannah who won Female player of the tournament.

The awards night is a week today, not expecting to win but I know there are only going to be three or four on the shortlist so may have a chance... 2
